You know your workouts are out of control when with travel time you require three hours.

What. Eff no. I spend three to four hours in my gym.

7 days a week?

In that case, you, sir, are far more hardcore than I. 15 minutes one way for the short route, 2.5 hours gym, 15 minutes back, then another 30-120 minutes running.

Or 45 minutes for the 10k each way to the gym route. Exactly WHAT is your plan, anyway? Or do you just have obscene amounts of rest between sets, or not combine sets with others that do not use the same set of muscles?
Ashteru2008-12-03 13:52:40
4 times a week. And for now a traditional one to gain weight. tongue.gif

Pfft. Girl. You're a girl. Noola is more strongerer than you. She shoots up steroids, does ten lines of coke and rides her bike out a third floor window, screaming "NANANANANANA" at the top of her lungs. Go five days.

So, I'm a computer science major. This semester has been pretty difficult, I'm taking an electrical engineering class, a calculus based probability and statistics class, an algorithm design class, a discrete math class...and a communications class, because it's required by my major. It's an easy A.

The problem is we are in groups, and have to give a presentation tomorrow. Even this isn't a problem, until you get to the fact that everyone else in my group actually thinks this is important, substantial stuff. They met last night to go over things for the presentation (I didn't go, had an EE exam to study for), and they're meeting again tonight, to go over things, again, which I have to go to. The email sent out by one of our group members is so ridiculous. It has all these things we need to have done before meeting so that "we're prepared." Really, all we have to do is say something and this teacher is going to give us an A, but instead of being able to shrug this off and focus on my classes that have some actual meaning associated to them, I have to spend several hours doing this crap.

And they want to do such a good job so they don't have to worry as much about the final. I didn't even buy the book and didn't study for the first one and I got a 94% on it. It's common sense. It annoys me to no end that they think their silly communication major is as important, difficult, and meaningful as an engineering major is.

I just wonder how badly they would fail if they had to take a single one of the other classes I do.

I know that sounds egotistical, but really, the things you "learn" in com classes is such crap. It's an entire major designed so that people can go to college and spend 4 more years not doing anything and living off their parents. The type of "research" that their text books talk about is laughable.

CS/EE is for LOSERS. I just happen to work in a building filled with them. And we make piles of money. I guess not losers.

Well, predictably, I had a little trouble getting words out today, and things slurred a bit. cry.gif

I hate migranes.

I get migraines sometimes. Not very often, but often enough to know I hate having them. Usually, I take whatever is the strongest medication for pain I have in the house and just go to bed until it's gone cause there's nothing I can really do in that condition except, maybe, throw up from the pain.

Did you go to the neurologist yet?

No, I've got to get a referral through the normal doctors so my insurance will cover it.

And I actually have prescription medication for my migranes. Stuff that's actually formulated to make the migrane go away. Mine are SO mad that the meds work...for a half hour, tops.

Nuclear Physics, vector calculus, and physics with calculus. 45 minutes isn't going to cut it...
Acrune2008-12-05 04:21:59
It will for the last two. Havent taken the first one tongue.gif
