Buy a ton of them, and whenever you buy something from the place you get them, pay for it with the $15 cards. The cashier that rings up your big screen TV will help you convince someone to stock higher value cards.

A tough week ahead: 16-hour days starting tomorrow. It's only this week though - and as they cannot have me working 16 hours straight, these slave-drivers, they have me work 8 hours, release me for another eight only to have me return for yet another eight-hour shift after a few hours of sleep.

having a friend speak less and less to me, and not even bothering to say hi or good night when they log on or off. And knowing that getting irritated over this is actually a failure of mine since I should give this person some time to come on terms with some things.

Dad ing me to open my availability.

He got a part time job where I work a looooooooooong time ago just for something to do when he got laid off his other job and still works at mine about 3 measly hours a week which keeps me from working the night shift in my department because we can't be scheduled at the same time.

So I open my availability to opening-closing most days except thursday and friday where I'm opening only, and completely off on saturdays because it's not worth my time to go sit their and deal with their :censor: during premiers and other stuff.

So because they're pissed that I wont close premiers anymore (considering I'm fairly certain I'm one of the better closers due to how often they used to schedule me for it), they decide to schedule me a closing shifts to opening shifts back to back.

Small Rave for working SIX days next week, though. Including xmas eve and xmas. Double time and the opportunity to escape my family's idiocity.

Doing my best to deny having a really horrible cold, but still getting really ill with it anyway. Bah!

My stepdad overstepping his boundaries and saying something to my sister about something from the past, making me feel extremely awkward and uncomfortable to the point I don't want to look at anything that reminds me of her.

I just had a rather sucktastic morning.

First, it's colder than God should allow outside. I hate winter. I HATE the cold. Second, it sleeted all during the night, so there's a nice thick layer of ice over the whole world. Third, on the way to the busstop from my apartment, I slipped and fell down TWICE. After my second fall, I texted my coworkers (except the bossman who's on a trip) asking if any of them were at work. I told myself, if they all said no, I was going back home. While waiting, I make my way the rest of the way to the busstop where I discovered, much to my non-amazement, I'd missed the bus.

Well, I get a no answer from the other Amanda and Tammy but then Kelly the IT guy says yes. So I stand at the busstop for the half hour that it takes the next bus to get there in 27 degree weather, in spitting snow. Then, when I'm on the bus, and we're about to arrive at my next stop where I catch my connection, I see said connection pulling away from the stop. I actually yelled, "Son of a BITCH!" when I saw the bus leaving too.

So, then, I get off the bus at the stop I was supposed to catch my connection at and almost fall down for a THIRD time cause of the ice. So, I call Kelly the IT guy and ask him to come get me cause by this time I'm losing feeling in my fingers and toes. It takes him twenty minutes to find the place cause he's never been there and the roads are so bad.

I've been at work for almost a half hour now and I still can't feel my toes!

I hate winter!
