Now for some job-related OOC ranting and so on:
I hate how I'm getting sick and I have to set up -another- round of mutagenesis next week and that if I don't have it all started on monday then I lose a whole week because then the flies won't have time to breed nor will I be able to finish the mutagenesis and then I'll have lost an entire rack of flies and that'll suck majorly because it means 2 weeks down the tubes, and I'd feel really bad about dumping the entire mutagenesis setup on my lab partner because he's really nice and mutagenesis sucks, doubly so if you don't have someone to help you, since doing it alone is a royal pain in the posterior. rawrgh.
I also hate how I'm allergic to the fumes coming off the yeast culture we feed some of the flies.
I do, however, like pouring gels and playing with the leftover agarose solution
