Alright.

Aslarans are NOT INNOCENT. It'd be one thing if you were defending against Shanthmark being bashed. But the aslarans in the encampment are paramilitaries. They have a standing bounty on the heads of krokani. They say no krokani have a right to live.
Are there any children in the encampment? No. Are there women? Yes, but they're pretty damn vicious. Everything in the encampment is 'warrior' or military.
Saying 'you can't hunt aslaran, they're innocents' is like saying 'omg, you can't attack that military base, there's innocent logistics officers there'.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

As I said, what they choose to "protect" is totally arbitrary. They don't protect the krokani because supposedly they are "aligned with the taint" (which I see no evidence of anywhere IC, but um, whatever). Mostly it looks like they needed to keep one mid-level bashing area open for their own little ones.

It is, perhaps, the most silly stance I've seen yet, and for something they are so "passionate" about, I am always amused when I see them turn a blind eye to people they -like- hunting these very same "innocents".
Unknown2006-07-28 16:42:12
*nod* Celestians can't bash Aslarans or Merians. In fact, they can't bash any sentients besides the Krokani, Gorgog, and Undead. It's good thing Trill guardians can't bash in the first place or I'd be in sorry shape. The novices aren't even allowed to hunt gnomes.

When I made a Celestine for the first time, I abided by that rule, but then I was like...um no. Its silly to not be able to kill all the killable things in Newtons.

You can hunt gnomes, that was removed a looong time ago.

Personally, the idea that wyrd!=taint takes the cake. Oh, and Nico protects Aslarans because Nico IS aslaran; don't extend personal actions of Celestian or Terentian individuals to the entire organization(s) they are part of.

I remember Mitch doing it too. Silimaur I think, too. But I am not sure, so don't be angry at me if I am wrong, bud.

Uhh doh.gif the Wyrd is not the same thing as the taint. Therefore, Wyrd != taint. You have to see it on an OOC level, anyway..

Mea culpa for talking to a person whom I've snubbed (he has me snubbed too), but... come one, lagging? Lamest excuse EVER. Very OOC too. Gramatical errors, OOCness, very inept jumping (I really had triggers off, as I do when not hunting)... you know what, Ethelon? I feel dirty for using your system, you little .
Ashteru2006-07-28 21:23:41

So? Lag = no jumping. If it's that hard for him to realise that, he shouldn't really go around coding systems. Because they might end up like total crap... oh wait, too late.

EDIT: No, I am not fuming angry at the moment. Just in mood for besmirching someone. Ethelon was closest.

And who let Phoebe back into the Wilde? Bah!

You ran to a safe room to heal from the looks of it, I wouldn't go talking shit about anyone.

Lies, not better.

I still hate Maeve - I still want her stupid fae body bloodied and impaled on a spike.

I am tired of having to deal with this pseudo-OH bull, I am not even it - I haven't been it for a long while. There are a TON of people far more qualified for being it than me, and because of this stupid shrine situation - I have to hear shit from people INSIDE my order about having Maeve's wished neglected (Which in all fairness, probably could get me in trouble with Serenwilde because we still try to maintain some mutuality with her, despite all this idiotic stuff that is thrown to twist our relationship). For the whole, I have had half the mind of throwing my computer out the window because I don't want to deal with this.

Regardless, you ran to a safe room to heal, go figure. You are nothing special so I wouldn't go talking bad about others. Also, if you think Ethelon is so shitty why not duel him and post the log? I am sure we would all be interested in reading it.

Boo-hoo. If you didn't notice, my triggers were off, so all my healing was manual. He (despite the so-called lag) somehow managed to pull an aeon with crucify, and I still survived that. As for duelling - kinda hard when he keeps you snubbed.

Short version - you're just jumping to defend an IC citymate, no matter what.

I hate getting enemied for stupid reasons. I hate being limited in my course of revenge by commune policies. I hate that someone can knock me down to nothing from 6000 health, regeneration and about twenty different brands of resistance. I hate that this takes about three seconds, when I am utterly incapable of killing anyone with the slightest clue as to what they're doing with damage. I hate that I am utterly incapable of killing anyone with the slightest clue as to what they're doing by any means. I hate cows, sheep, all other manner of wandering livestock, wind, tides, and earthquakes. I hate Celestian protection policies and anyone who acknowledges them. I hate sleep, and how it creeps up at all the wrong times. I hate having to regain the same 4% of a level three times in the same day. I hate the lag, and suspect that the entire game is running on Roark's toaster at the moment. I hate having to enforce Glomdoring's exclusionary policy. I hate having to adjust to allow Celestians. I hate being at near-zero power after two days of repeated deaths and being near Shallamurine. I hate being a fuming ball of rage and not having a truly satisfactory way to unleash it all upon those who have drawn my ire, one that would leave me cackling madly as I stood over their broken bodies as they wailed for mercy, leaving me free to either abandon them to a slow death or cut their pleas short by stomping on their throats.

I hate the way Ashteru keeps calling me emo.
