Complain all you want, the reason this thread was made.

Yeah, I know. But everyone else pitches a fit now and then, I should get to do the same. I mean, I understand the advantages of being able to utilize aetherspace to release new areas, but the only aetherbubble I've ever been to has been a few rooms of Cankermore on the test server, where I promptly got jumped and died. Aetherspace does absolutely nothing for me. Wildnodes does absolutely nothing for me. 90% of the reason I don't get distracted by other things (my friend is trying to drag me back into Diablo II at the moment) is because of my family. It's incredinly annoying every time I look at myself and see born into Estelonde, a family that doesn't exist anymore, instead of the Talnara that I rightfully am. ARGH.
That and because Tervic got married he can't consider bloodbonds. Tek's his non-existent brother, and yet I (the player) am sometimes rather absentminded about that because he doens't appear in the family tree... >.<
EDIT: Tek being Tekora.

I was watching the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie the other day, and when Marvin stepped on screen, I pointed at him and shouted, "OMG! IT'S AERENNA!"

Verithrax, you've just lost rights to Alan Rickman's voice. It now belongs to Aerenna.

I'm very angry at my school, personally I don't want to go back cuz I have to wear icky uniforms. They think that the uniforms will "help stop with violence" but its just going to make the Bloods extremely pissed at the fact they have to wear their rival gang's colors, and I can tell you that skaters and co. are going to be pissed too. And most of my school is made up of these two groups. The only one who will like it/don't care are preps. We had a survey about this, and 90% or some such of the parents voted "yes" which isn't true because most didn't vote. The only reason 90% said yes was because any parent who didn't vote was an automatic yes. This is complete crap and I really dislike my school. I want to wear my hoodie(really stupid rule) and not some ugly, puffy sweater that looks like crap. Cheyenne High School staff, LISTEN TO THE STUDENTS NOT THE PARENTS. Arrrgghhh. *sigh* waiting for my mom to get home right now so I can go buy my ugly crap. And what's stupider about this whole thing is that i can't wear blue jeans. Wtf?
Diamondais2006-08-11 00:43:53
Yeah, they just dont listen. The majority of the students in my school walked out and went over to the School Board building (its next door so it was hard) after they asked our own opinions and then had the attitude of 'neener neener were better than you"
Uh..Ive been writing that awhile, forgot to post.

You can't wear jeans to school!? That's just messed up. Y'know, you could just have a massive march on the administration building. The entire AP physics class at my high school did that when they wouldn't tell us where our teacher went. It was fun, and we actually got the principal to make an official statement to the -entire- school So yeah, rioting. Woohoo.
EDIT: To make it even better, have everyone wear NORMAL clothing, not icky uniform crap.

My entire school did that, it does nothing! Bah on School Boards.

If enough people do wear whatever they want, then the school will probably let us do that. Cuz in Swangeston(spelling?) that's what they did. But the principal of my school, Dr. Geihs, says that the uniforms will stop violence and all that jazz but I highly doubt it, I think it'll boost it up cuz of the Bloods. I did a mock article, well two of 'em, on school uniforms; the pros and cons. I tried to find statistics of whether or not school uniforms do lessen violence and such and I couldn't find any at all, but it could have be because I wasn't looking for the right thing. I think uniforms are silly in high school because we're teenages, why do we have to wear something to 'conform' when we're finding ourselves? The is the period of life when we're trying to find ways to define and make ourselves unique albiet some aren't doing this but most I would think are. So it just seems wrong that they do this to us.
Jack2006-08-12 22:54:29
"Wah, wah, I don't want to conform, I'm such an individualistic rebel".
Stop cluttering up my marvellous topic with your bitching. Wear your uniform and enjoy it. Damn kids.

Jack has a point, but uniforms really don't change anything. In the end, if you were violent before, you'll be violent now. Not wearing gang colors doesn't mean you're suddenly passive and mellow, and I've never seen someone so distracted by clothing that it affected their work. If they're that bad, something else will just distract them instead.
Jahan2006-08-12 23:17:43
High school uniforms are a great idea. They teach that your clothing doesn't make you an individual and that your mind does. This isn't even mentioning that the only reason you look like a drone in a uniform is because you haven't been creative enough to alter said uniform acceptably.

Back to ranting.
So, I decide to get it done with my level and a bash up about 40% at level 89 today. All because I wanted an additional intelligence point. Guess what I get?! Yeah, Charisma. -.-

Random melodrama from inactive people for the loss!

Jack there is no way in hell am I going to enjoy wearing this stupid uniform because I had to once. It was horrible. Made even worse by my mom who decided that yes my children are going to wear crappy uniforms when they could be wearing they're own clothes. I did not enjoy wearing uniforms. I was 8 or so, and having some jerk flip my skirt was not fun, not fun at all. Kind of made me paranoid to wear skirts ever again, shorts skirts that is.
Anyway, I'm irritated right now because of the "elitist" playerbase in Imperian. My first mud and its became a very ugly thing. *sigh* I really wish there was something to do to make it better but I'll have to endure because I enjoy playing with my friends and they're kind of wary of Lusternia because its different from Impy and that's the only mud they've ever played.

So much time was spent hashing out a treaty with Celest. For the first time in a long time, Glomdoring has a partner that isn't unhappy to be forced into it. Then what happens? Some dimwitted Eph gets promoted and starts screaming about tainted wretches, then a long-standing admin suspends a player-made treaty on account of divine action.
Did Celest want it to end? No.
Did Glomdoring want it to end? No.
Did Celestian mortals violate it? Not substantially, and the violation was punished.

And now what?

Er, little things. A Celestian attacked someone on Water. An enemied Glom visited Water. Both paid the prescribed fines. Then Hajamin and Viravain duke it out. Meh.

Shamfish chopped some trees yesterday, from what I remember.
