Shamfish chopped some trees yesterday, from what I remember.

The treaty didn't end yesterday dry.gif

That really sucks cause its cool how things were working. sad.gif

Celest is so screwed now. giggle.gif

Actually, I think we're in for an interesting time, and I think Xavius has jumped the gun just a little. (Though his assumptions are fair and stand up to scrutiny.)

And worse, we can't fix it! That's what was so great about the other treaty. It was beautiful. It had terms to correct violations. What do you do when it's a divine pissing match?

"Lord Hajamin, excuse me, but we need You to pay Your fine. You can't call Gloms tainted wretches. It's a me..."

Or how about...

"Look, Lady Viravain, Lord Hajamin is immortal. He's not really bound by our laws. We're not going to do as You asked. You can fight Him Yourself, and we'll d..."

heh, some celestians started trying to steal faethorn fae again, not that I'm privy to if that is in the treaty or not, or that a glom would believe anything zenji has to say IC.. but at least that's why Zenji thought the treaty was broken, it was odd, sort of gave him a grudging respect for them. blink.gif

Zenji does not equal me, and recent actions/events have really let me explore that much more then ever before. dunno.gif Guess I'm just really enjoying the emersion right about now.

hrm.. something hateful to post on the ranting thread... I hate 90+ degree days, where I'm on the top floor of my house where the air conditioner doesn't work nearly as well. ranting.gif

It's nice to see Celest standing up for themselves for once and not compromising their position. For the first time for ages, I'm actually rooting for them to win. tongue.gif

Except that, you know, you can't really "win" in this game.

Of course Fae were in the treaty.

As far as I know, nobody was stealing Fae while it was in effect, but now... well. *shrugs* Who knows.

Didn't you suicide? Why are you still hanging about?
Sylphas2006-08-14 01:49:34
If they're stealing fae, the whole point of the war is gone. We will NEVER ban angel slaying so long as they don't ban fae taking. The day we do is the day I either leave for Glomdoring or go try out Imperian.

Random overpowered fighter: "I refuse to fight in your demesne."

Sub any number of random overpowered fighters in for the name.

Yes, random overpowered Celestine, I'll fight you without my demesne, but you have to dismiss your angel and give me your tarot deck. Yes, random overpowered blademaster, I'll fight you without my demesne, but you have to use blunts. Yes, random overpowered mage, I'll fight you without my demesne. (Wait, what's that, no thornrend either? Wow, you're a pansy.)

Any guardian refusing to fight in a demesne is a wuss. They have both a passive (love potion) and an active (lust tarot) method of stopping your offense dead, and the active method can be masked. That's not to mention the summoning abilities they get, or the fact that druid demesnes are more or less totally negated by a protection scroll anyway.

Yeah... lust tarot owns demesne users. There are ways to get around love potion by illusioning something to sip choleric, but yeah. Both throw off a mage or druid in their demesne a great deal.

Yep. I had that problem too. Some people sending me tells to "Get out of your friggin demesne you pansy man" - when I am defending OUR OWN territory.

Divines gave the mages Druidry/Aquamancy/Gemoancy as their main skillset.

If I meet a mage in combat, Id rather try to sip love/scroll/parade my way in than send insults which is totally immature.

(But aquamancer telepath is totally wicked though laugh.gif )
