Unlimited PK will result to decrease in player base, as Esterra stated in another thread. There's a lot of players in Lusty that comes for the ropleplay part, and some dont know how to set up systems as effective as the fighters in the basin.

Reiha (again, *2 one raid) != noob. Reiha is 160% my might.
Yeah, I suck... for all the fast typing I can do, from a few good ol' months of practice when I thought everyone cured everything by TYPING EVERY SINGLE LETTER IN instead of using triggers, which I didn't find out about until waaaay latter. I don't think I even knew about (Nexus) aliases until a couple of weeks later after first playing the game...
But anyways, if you're talking about those times you took me by surprise....not sure that's really anything to brag about, either. If I recall correctly your level is HIGHER than mine last time I checked, despite my 'huge' might in comparison. I've been playing for more than half a year now, and Lusternia is my first mud, guess I still have things to get better at.
And if I'm not making any sense and sounding b*tchy, rather tired after coming home from work.*excuses*

Better yet, use your Ildaudid! He's quite a good artifact. To use it you just ORDER ILDAUDID KILL *target*. Among the most effective weapons out there

And you guys started the god damn war, and pushed us and pushed us until we hit back. Harden the up and stop crying. You want to hit us back? Fine, we're at war. But don't try some poor victim routine when you get owned. If you didn't expect Mag to help trample you while you're down, you weren't thinking at all.

Now, for once, this particular instance of abuse isn't Silimaur's fault...but it's extremely annoying nonetheless. Silimaur has suspect on me, but when he waits until someone's hunting and jumps them in a neutral zone for no reason I should damn well be able to defend her.
With a focused look, Silimaur strikes at Rinaari with a silver crescent
scimitar. Silimaur feebly sticks the blade into her right leg.
With a focused look, Silimaur strikes at Rinaari with a prismatic white-steel
scimitar. Silimaur strikes powerfully her right leg, and blood fountains out in
a thick spray.
Rinaari's eyes close suddenly as she falls asleep.
You declare your intent to defend Rinaari.
Target t = silimaur.
You have recovered equilibrium.
You point a silver identification bracelet at Silimaur, and sparks fly out of
it.
Avechna whispers in your mind a warning, and you stay your hand.
The sparks quickly fizzle out as the spell fails.
You suddenly perceive the vague outline of an aura of rebounding around
Silimaur.
Silimaur's aura of weapons rebounding disappears.
With a focused look, Silimaur strikes at Rinaari with a silver crescent

Rinaari wakes up with a gasp of pain.
Silimaur takes a long drag off his pipe.

Rinaari stands up and stretches her arms out wide.
With a focused look, Silimaur strikes at Rinaari with a prismatic white-steel

blood in all directions.
Rinaari clenches her fists and grits her teeth.
"Ummmm," you say uncertainly.
You tell Serenguard Rinaari Mes'ard, "Run."

The problem is it does seem to poison the mood for a lot of people and it ends up coming back in-game at times.
The ones that like the idea of self-preservation stay away from here. This thread is like... Hrm... the smoking zone of the restaurants. You can't expect everyone to stub out their cigarettes and quit smoking the minute you walk in, especially when they've been at it for a while. Noone forces non-smokers to sit in the smoking zone. Of course this will affect the non-smoking section a little when the smoke goes over. I think the zone is more of minimising the damage by keeping it in one place, since the smoke will always find a way to bother someone else, be it a smoker ("I dislike what you're smoking!") or non-smoker ("I dislike smoke in general!"). There's also hardly any way of accidentally wandering in, since our little smoking zone here is clearly labelled. Don't tell me it's impossible, there are dozens of players who don't frequent the forums for one reason or another. The number of people who find this thread useful currently outweigh the number who don't (from what I can tell). The smoking section will be shut down when lots of people complain it's detrimental to their health.
(FYI, I'm against smoking and I don't smoke. Just couldn't think of anything better at this time of the night. Now, if you would replace every "smoker" with "ranter"...)
Unknown2006-08-15 16:16:05
..but smoking is addictive, and so is forum watching (I'm a non-smoker too, I think it's vile)
Edit:Also there is the off chance that something is just so off base or ill informed that someone is ranting about you need to tell them about it. Example: newbie, Rage is so overpowered! me, did you know you can shield against it? newbie, oh? never mind then.
Oh, and of course the admin and moderators are forced in here to see that I'm not spewing off racial slurs and debasing everyone in sight.

You killed me, I'm dead! Don't stomp on my face with your dirty shoe and squish it around. I don't even mind death until people have to get snooty about it.
