Yeah, disappointment is a bitch.
And so is embarrassment.

For f*** sake, don't correct someone's spelling on an IC channel. It sounds the same no matter how it's spelled. If you must, send them a private message correcting them.
Unknown2006-08-20 00:44:29
Actually, if you're like really up-tight about spelling and such, i.e. a teacher, they can hear the difference of how its pronouced. I can kind of hear the difference in the words. Just saying.

If it's noticeable, it's noticeable. That's all there is to it. These people don't speak English. Pronunciation is letters. It's what we work with. If it's wrong, it's mispronounced.
Laysus2006-08-20 01:36:41
except is pronounced ex sept
accept is pronounced ak sept
it's a small, but noticable difference.

That really depends on accent. To say that anything is pronounced a certain way is silly, considering the argument that was had over doll rhyming with all. Which it does in the US.

Having no car sucks.
Having no G1 or G2 or G sucks.
Having a friend that offers to drive you home, thats nice.
Having the same friend drop you for booze sucks.
Overall, realization is a bitch.

And if you hadn't turned up so late, there'd be a lot more of us speaking the Queen's English.

I hate...
This game
And I have never even played it.
It just... has an aura of suckage. Screw violence and sex games, this game right here is dangerous to youths all around ameica.
From the title of the game it is obvious that Mario was caught in scene by peach experiencing bondage and beastiality. This game without a doubt about how Princess Peach must negotiate her divorce settlement by sending in live action footage of this encounter.
Digusting!

Was fun a fun party until it started to get dark. Then yeah, people forget I live an hours walk away. I cant drive. No buses late night on saturday, no money for a cab and I dont want to rely on my stepfather for rides every time I go out. Oh, and no job cause everywhere I apply never calls me.
Yeah, Im in a crappy mood. Been crying and the like, hiding my own dissapointments of myself and my friends from everyone else. Feel free to ignore me letting off a bit of steam.

Like I told Aiakon, we Americans will simply phase out your contrived "accent." We will flood your networks with American programs and your schools with American textbooks. Your food will be packaged in American plants and printed with American logos. British English will simply cease to exist.
Have a lovely day.
