Nope. And even once you've tossed in a bunch of lessons, the first skill you get is emissary.

I take it that it's a relativly worthless skill?

Worthless for a near novice, since it improves parley/amnesty skill.

Sometimes I don't like the fact I'm so easily amused, especially when its something small or extremely silly. Like my blinke for example. I could stare at that thing for hours and just be like "Oh! My Gosh! Its so cool." The blinkes that Ryld and Tsuki have made are just wicked awesome. I get picked on for being so easily amused like that. And those blinkies are kind of making me hyper. Off to guild wars, am I.

...You are the bane of my existence, Ashteru.
Also, I find it highly annoying when I tell a certain person numerous times to "go to hell", "die", or "go back to France", and they don't bother doing any one of those . Especially when they interrupt these as flirtatious remarks *shudder*

I hate it when people know you're nervous about something, such as getting your wisdom teeth removed. So, instead of telling you it will be alright, they instead decide to tell you horror stories from the beyond.
Hehe, I got my wisdom teeth out...three summers ago, I believe, and it wasn't -too- bad. In fact I used to have a picture, though I have no idea what I did with it. When I went in to get my mouth checked out prior to surgery, the guy told me that on a scale of 1-10 of difficulty, mine would be a 7/8 >.<. And if you're worried about waking up during surgery, don't be! You're probably a normal person and getting knocked out, but I only had the gas so I woke up during surgery, but I was so out of it and numbed up that I didn't really notice anything (though I did feel them remove a tooth, which I have to say was strange). And my parents immediately took my pain killers away from me the second day and put me on tylenol which wasn't bad.
My ONE tidbit of advice: DO NOT use a spoon with soup! It's basically like using a straw and hurts!

I walk into Tosha, kill ONE monk, get enemied, and then get jumped by Narsrim. And my curing decides to go on vacation so I get killed. And the opportunistic shit doesn't even get suspect.
Reiha2006-08-21 00:45:28
...I was fully awake when my wisdom teeth were pulled out. I guess I have a high tolerance for pain. They said I did very good. I broke out into a fever that lasted for five days

Interesting thing... getting killed in enemy territory (the monastery, when you're enemied to Tosha,) means that Avechna looks the other way. So... killing a monk in front of Narsrim is kinda like ringing a dinner bell.

I know.
I didn't kill it in front of him. I killed it and then he appeared, magelocked the entrance and began peppering the place with flamed monoliths.
EDIT:
You point at Narsrim and shove your archdemon towards him. Wicked steel implements appear in his
claws as he jumps on Narsrim and begins carving deeply and slowly into his flesh. He screams in
abject agony during this obscene torture.
Slick with blood from countless cruel wounds, Narsrim gasps his final breath and dies to the demonic
torture.
You have slain Narsrim.
Your karma falls in response to your deeds.

Anyways, nice work! Solo or with help, dropping Narsrim feels good.

PLEASE NOTE, I do not claim Magnagora or Serenwilde does not do this, but I'd actually like EVERYONE to get off of their moral highhorse.
If we all got off of highhorses, and had mammoths instead, we'd be happier.

I'll just trigger the line when the star falls to shout
"Dood, r0x0rs, w3 totally 1337! U sUcK!"
That will have the same meaning what those mouthy Celestians shout, AND it will actually be understood by them.

Gee thanks.... We're not -all- like that, you know.
Seriously, all the Celest-bashing... has anyone ever considered it a self-fulfilling prophecy? Treat us like jerks and we reply in kind?

No, because that leads us to the basic question of what came first, the chicken or the egg. Who even knows who threw the first punch, people bash each other everywhere, no one is innocent of it. And the shouting has gone on for quite a long time, and it does happen from all sides, but I've mainly seen it coming from certain Celestians recently.
I should also throw in the fact that I despise shouting, and I regularly scold citizens or tell them to stop.

It irks me that while dueling an aquamancer, I miss with cleave 4 times in a row!!! WTF is that.. they don't have the overpowered combatstyle defensive. How in the hell can you miss that many times in a row as a transcedent warrior??? I mean balance time takes 3-4 sec or so to recover... and 4 times in a row would make that 12-16 seconds of pure vessel popping. I have been saddened once again by the insane miss rate Warriors especially transcendant ones are given. I could shrug it off more if it was a warrior I was fighting, but a mage, who cannot change combat styles should not have that type of sick luck.... Other than that was a good fight and I lost. Should really fix my vessel curing and move more... but after all those misses I just got frustrated.
