I don't think it'd be a problem. People probably wouldn't post secret things, and it isn't as if things don't get out through normal forum conversations anyhow.
No one seems to object to the section being there on Aetolia.

Just to make it clear, let's talk basic sense, with examples.
Am I going to post a log of my top-secret negotiations with Shamarah in which I agree to spy for Celest and bring him as many fae as I can in a pivotal moment of the battle for Faethorn* on the roleplay-logs forum?
No.
However, if, say, Tzekelkan and I have an extensive, witty back and forth of tells about Wyrd, Light, and my mother?
Yes.
*Not that this has ever occured.

Gasp! Disfavour! Kill!

Shush you.

I like the idea of both the roleplay and the self-affirmations sections.

*eye* No Oedipus complex, you.

As a player of this game, I like to see that done for MAJOR events, simply because not everybody can be there, especially those of us with jobs and family commitments and other such responsibilities. You can sort of RP it by saying it got back to you through the grapevine--in other words those denziens must gossip about stuff and soon the whole basin knows.
I don't think everything that is private of course should be posted. But it makes sense in many circumstances. I'm sure people enjoyed the summary of the first Aethership journey, and I would hope others would do the same for me.

Wyrd, Light and me?
Have I suddenly become the embodiment of darkness or the Taint?
And why would you be having conversations about me with Tzekelkan anyway?
Psh...
I think you and I need to talk!

Yes. We have a lot of players with low self-esteem.

I think it's entertaining to read logs and it would be an efficient way of organizing things if there was a separate forum for them. However, it also runs the risk of encouraging people to post a lot of fluff you have to sort through to find something that entertains you. Achaea's forums have a section for this too, and I find a lot of the posts to be rather boastful and preachy about what is and isn't good RP, as opposed to just sharing one person's viewpoint on events that we wouldn't be privy to IC.
But overall I think it'd be ok.
