Thanks guys. Though I've known I was leaving for a little while now, none of us expected it to be this soon, and now that it's imminent, I'm feeling very misty-eyed and nostalgic about my time in Lusternia.

As many of you know, I've been with the game since its development, and yes it's true that I'm the last of the original Gods (save Roark and Estarra, of course) to leave.

It's been an amazing experience being here, and looking back I wouldn't trade all the things I've done and seen done here for anything. I really have to thank Roark and Estarra for giving me the opportunities they have, and the many Gods over the life of the game who've put up with my cursing of wireless and incessant abuse.

I'm going to miss a lot of people, but no goodbye is forever, and I'm not moving far, after all.

Aren't you moving to Imperian? Might as well say your goodbyes here!

Goodbye, Lisaera. It's been really fun seeing you around and interacting, and the work you've done for Lusternia is phenominal. We'll miss you.

wow. I remembered the first time my Azman character saw Goddess Lisaera in her divine person was some time after him passing novicehood as a moondancer. One month Azman came to the realms and immediately Lady Skyla rushed him to take part in some cleaning ritual at moon tower. Didn't understood what was happening but still nice RP still the same.

None of my characters ever actually met you (g'damn time-zones) But I'm a log junkie and you seemed pretty cool, and the world just won't be the same once you've gone.

Lisaera has been more than an amazing coder and administrator here at Lusternia, she has been a great friend and an even greater mentor. I really feel pity for the poor mortals who never got to know her for who she was at the core, and I know that I am blessed by Magnora Herself to have gotten the chance to.

I know this isn't goodbye, but I really do want you to know how much we appreciate you -- all of us!

Is there or was there an RP even to go with Lisarea leaving? Or was Lisarea IC no more importrant than any other god and thus is theretically replaceable?

There will be an IC explanation, but in IC terms Lisaera is just the same as any other Elder God, so the character itself will be left open. It might have been nice to do a bigger event (though it still would have been left open), however nobody could really think of one on such short notice. The announce post here was put up literally only a few hours after I myself found out the exact date of my leaving.
