Serves you right after I got you elected and trusted you(despite all the warnings), not even a month later you pull that . Think your plans through before hand and have all arrangements done. You should have secured your spot long before you even considered leaving Magnagora.
You got me elected? If I remember correctly I was the only person in the election.
Torak2006-06-24 17:36:27
I could of had someone run against you and get elected, or even ran myself if I wanted. We both know that
Ixion2006-06-24 18:04:16
I would have sympathy for you Kahazul, except that my fine for somewhere was 300k. I was considering paying if I couldn't get it reduced, too.
My recent plans have had a quite a few major monkey wrenches thrown into them as well. As they say, roll with the punches rather than just give up.

Veonira2006-06-24 18:12:34
At least Celest was willing to unenemy you D:. I mean, apparently Veonira is -so- infamous that Celest wouldn't unenemy her after 6 RL months of not bothering them.

They just hate you I suppose.

This reveals Hazar's Third Law of Lusterniac Dynamics:
Defection to Celest never works.
Defection to Celest never works.
Jack2006-06-24 20:57:13
Dude, you should've consulted me. I've defected to Celest... let's see... three times, now. It just doesn't work. Even if you get in, you have to endure the retards and the powerblocking and the wholly warranted and roleplayed hatred from veteran lighties. It's the pits and shits.

Mag really needs to stop giving me so much credit for this. It's a little too flattering for my tastes.
Also...There go my plans of raising hell in Celest somehow.

1. Yes. Daxera was only one part of the process, though no one seems to believe me.
2. Well if you'd told me you wanted to 'raise hell'... eh. The moment I did anything controversial I'd be out.

That would depend on what kind of "controversial" you're talking about...

Celest's newest law: ANYONE ABOVE NOVICE LEVEL CAN TELL DUMB NOVVIES (including those who act like novvies but aren't) TO STFU!

well, that changes everything.
We won't stop hearing to STFU in some places

Torak mate, don't get angry. It's a game
And though you were a GM Kahazul... mate, you did nothing... the most prominent thing you did was having a credit sale. And yeah, you were elected only because Torak arranged it. You almost lost to two people who declared themselves inactive.
Anyways, would like to hear the RP reasoning, might be intriguing to hear

I didn't do much that the whole guild would notice, Narses, but there was a lot going on behind the scenes. Nigredo and I overhauled the cult leadership to that it was actually active and running smoothly, updated several laws and passed new ones, updated most of the ghelp files, and reworked the guild projects. Most GM's don't do a ton of of things that are really noticeable among the guild members - a lot of that is delegated to the GA. Though I did do quite a bit within the guild most of my work was as a member of the Iron Council, representing the guild and assisting in city matters.

But it'd still happen, since wanks like Mitch and Laxinova would just wait until you weren't around to trip out on power and do crap like that.

Well, Tully just gave Kahazul 150,000 gold. So hopefully that will help.
My character can't stand to see or hear about lovers not being together. Hope Kahazul finds love and happiness in New Celest.

That's not true. The most prominent thing he did was get Magnagorans banned from Glomdoring.

Tully!! He went and spent it on hookers in Celest's new brothel! On a side note how the hell did I end up with your painting of a painting of a painting, etc thing?
