Back to Common Grounds.

I agree with Tuek. Allhex isn't really worth it anymore. And Hexaura makes tons of sense as a trans skill, if you remove the whammy/dwhammy limitations and fix that anything but walking drops your hexes.

Or maybe an enchantment? I was thinking it'd be interesting if some things could only be cured by enchantment so communes had to rely on cities for certain cures (though I was thinking more spiritual afflictions).

The communes already have to rely on the cities for Cleansing to cure Sap, which ironically can only be given by a commune member.

Slitlock is powerful indeed, but is also extremely hard to get against a competent fighter due to the atrocious accuracy of Hack Down. The chances of getting Hack Down on a successful swing is already 50% (since it can hit head or chest), then if you factor in parrying/stancing the chances go down even more. Let's also not forget the fact that Poison has a 50% success rate before taking account of Resilience. Lastly, out of the three warrior specializations that can achieve Slitlock (BM, AL, PB) only the two-handers really have the best chances with Assault/Sweep but both are 4 power abilities that can easily be countered with Green or Gedulah or many of the various passive/active curing abilities.

I'm not saying that Slitlock shouldn't be looked into, but at the moment it is perhaps one of the limited options warriors have in order to slow down someone's curing since we do not have access to an Anorexia-inducing poison, which wouldn't really be all that useful anyway due to the randomess of poison afflicting.

If the change to how slit-throat is cured goes in, then perhaps a look into how blademasters give the affliction can be made. Since it will be easier to cure, I do not see why it could not be made easier for a Blademaster to acquire.

never had much trouble getting a slit lock as a blademaster, just used to go off on the gut until they had to move parry then strike head a few times and start hackdowning.

I think it would be really nice if a cleanse enchantment also cured slickness...

I dunno.. water is usually pretty bad at washing away oil in my experience.

Water isn't very good at removing a stench from something either.. but thats why its magic.

Its a cleanse enchantment, not a water enchantment. It just happens to appear to be water that does the cleaning.

I guess there is a divergence between what you consider hard to acquire and what Terenas does. I do agree with Terenas that two-handers have an easier time at giving the affliction. Though, I do not know exactly how much harder it is for a blademaster to give it than a two-hander.
