206/495/152.

A bit slow, and I wanted its precision to be little higher too. But, guess I can't have anything. So, any opinions from the experienced forgers on this one?

Also, if I wanted to artie it one day, I'd have to drop 34 points from damage. THIRTY FOUR. It's almost a blasphemy, but then again it might be just me once again.

Cut it to 177/495/150, and it'll still be good while possible to rune.
Ildaudid2006-06-19 23:20:26
Agreed, it is decent.
Murphy2006-06-19 23:35:28
yeh losing damage points isn't much really, you might do 50 less hp to someone tanky.

There's stat caps for adding artifacts to weapons? I never knew that! blink.gif

Terenas2006-06-20 04:04:00
The allowed combined stats for a one-handed weapon to have prior to attaching an Artifact Rune is 463. I believe for a 2-handed weapon you'll have to divide the damage by 2, the precision by 2.2, and add the speed onto it with the limit still at 463.
Ildaudid2006-06-20 04:24:20
Yeah I had to drop my damage to min, and some off my speed to attach a rune on mine... at least now it won't decay smile.gif
Nico2006-06-20 04:30:04
Well, my hammers still fit the criteria then, 41/194/234.
EDIT: Um, nevermind. I'm an idiot. Anyhow, it's close, not to big a deal to shave off 6 pts somewhere.

Just wish i wouldn't have to pay double what 2-handers cost to get my set artied.

I believe two-handers can be equipped with two of each rune type, so it ends up being the same.
Terenas2006-06-20 04:32:24
No, they still have to get as many Artifact Runes as you do because 2-handed weapons can have up to two of Stat, Wounding, and Elemental Runes (with this only converting 1/6 so two for 1/3). The major advantage of a 2-hander is they only need to acquire one weapon instead of two.
Nico2006-06-20 04:36:04
Oh. Well, this just shows that I know absolute jack censor.gif about arties.

Still debating if I even want to artie up. It's a ton of credits for anything useful...

if I wanted to max artie my hammers, that'd be what, like 3700ish credits?
Murphy2006-06-20 05:08:19
Don't put elementals on them

If you're going to artie them a +10 stat rune and a +10% wounding rune on each of them will be plenty sufficient to beat the masses down with.

so thats 1600 credits all up for a good solid set which will enable you to beat just about anyone depending on your own skill of course.

If you have to shave them, take the points off damage there is almost absolute 0 differnece (maybe 5hit points? it really is bugger all) between 6 damage points.

Well its the same if your talking about damage, stats or wounding but unless your talking about just putting runes on so they dont decay then two handers have it better.
Ildaudid2006-06-20 22:26:31
Yeah the main problem is getting a decent weapon, not runing them.

When Ekard was constantly fillin his shop, it was great. Especially since at the time I had a monopoly on the Celest sparkleberry market.

Hrmm, 1600 credits at 4k per. Have 78 saved up (prolly gonna transcend herbs for the faster balance. Stupid myrtle changes). That's 1522 more credits to go, or 6,088,000 gold. Selling sparkleberries at 25 per (on average), that's 243,520 sparkleberries. I can harvest about 1500 sparkleberries if I dedicate myself to it while on astral, leaving me with 162ish astral trips to go. Prolly can do two runs a day...so I'm looking at 3 months if I work my ass off for it.

Or I could just get a job and use my first paycheck to fund it.
