Well, according to rumour, we had a wildnodes event sometime in the last day or so. However, there is actually no game evidence that it occured or any record of who won.

Could we please have at least a politics post that announces the final result of wildnodes (assuming it did happen)?

Also, let's randomize the timing for heaven's sake, and maybe make a prime plane equivalent that the communes can be equally involved in.

Edit: At the moment, it seems like an event designed exclusively for american players, and weighted heavily towards the cities. That's fine, because it makes sense that the cities are interested in Astral while the communes aren't... but where is the event that is weighted towards us?

Yes, that SUCKED. Serenwilde prepped like madmen, but everyone involved in that was gone by the time the event rolled around. Seeing all our work go down the drain was incredibly annoying.

Nodes were also spam-linked nodes, so nobody else really showed up for the actual wildnodes event.

You have no idea how pissed I was, IC and OOC Spent ALL my free time for the last two days preparing so we'd have a chance, and what happens? The event is about to start and I was the ONLY PERSON around who could even SURVIVE astral.

People tend to have lives. Me? I'm getting sever thunderstorms in my area which is knocking out my connection every 3-5 minutes or so. So ya, I feel Estarra's pain at getting her internet cut out a week before it should have been.

I tried getting on Lusternia, but even though 3 minutes is enough to post on the forums, its only enough in lusternia to def up, get kicked off, def up again, get kicked off, lose 40% reserves, get pissed off, and stop trying till this storm front passes.

They're mostly all other timezones. I'd have helped, but the two of us wouldn't have done much, and I have no supplies. I die if someone looks at me while thinking of an affliction. Derian tried to organize something halfway through, but it was wasted effort. At that point, it was just posturing and maybe getting themselves killed.

Yeah, I only ever went to wildnodes once since it's on at 10PM, before I wake up. (The one time, it got delayed a while, and Magnagora had it all demesned so we just died anyway.)

I've never been able to participate when it's happening. Actually, the only time I've ever been on when it was happening was when I was at work. I only log in at work to read the in game news and do a little mild roleplay, I can't devote enough attention to it to do much else.

I'm never at the wildnodes things either because they don't happen during my normal ridiculously late night gaming hours.

I'd like if all the linkable nodes were drained during wildnodes and all linked mobs were temporarially not there, say because their energies were dispersed into the wild nodes due to a cataclysmic shaking of the fabric of the Astral Plane as the Kethuru continues to try in vain to escape from his prison. Or something like that.

Why? Preparation is key and you can always drain your own node. But I do agree that wildnodes should be more randomized
