That's a neat idea Xenthos.
Laysus2006-07-07 12:44:54
I don't like the idea of it being used to borrow things like cubixes.
Ixion2006-07-07 12:45:25
Get a friend to buy a cubix and you will.
It's a major convenience for both the artie owner and the person borrowing.

^---- that's what he meant, I think.

The great thing about artifact borrowing is the person has no clue when the item will reset to its owner. So, a person borrowing a Cubix to raid, or make a general nuisance of himself, could find the Cubix gone at the most inopportune times. It kind of balances out the fact that Cubixes can be borrowed and used for such.

Or your fiancee can be blown randomly out of a tree because your Brooch resets.

It's been a few days since the keystones were put up for auction. Will there be more or is this the last of it?

Does Raizan just have like 5000 credits to spare?
Sylphas2006-07-09 05:38:32
Apparently. Still surprised that monocle went for anything NEAR that much.

Sigil of Possession
When attached to an item, that item will now return to you (even an artifact owned by someone else!). At the weave, the sigil will unattach from the "possessed" item, and if that item was an artifact it will immediately return to its owner.
I think this would be kind of cool. You can attach it to any one of your items to have it reset, or borrow a cubix/prism and keep it for the rest of the weave.
Though I guess it would kind of hurt to have someone steal an infinite vial... no more health/mana/bromides until the weave! Unless the sigil takes 10 seconds to attach. Hrm...
Hrm. I dislike this idea because the only real point to it would be to attach it to an artifacts, which were designed to NOT be able to be stolen for long periods of time.

Waterwalk Brooch-
Gives you permanent waterwalk.

How bout just a Brooch of Magic - can be charged one time with whatever the owner wants and then gives the owner permanent whatever. Then maybe they make more than one of them.

Or allow the user to change what's enchanted in it by a command to release the enchantment and then have it enchanted with something new? *shrugs*
