Helm of Freakishly Large Diamonds--all damage and wounding caused by attacks to the head is reduced to zero.
Rubber Jerkin--75% chance to shrug impale and burstorgans.
Gem-toed boots--immunity to pinleg.
...what? You guys still have offensive options.

And by nerf we mean "Oh gods. Not again. Pleas don't tell me... is that...?"
Thank you for your ideas Xavius.
After much complaining and nerfing, and the implementation of your artifacts, you will bring about the second age of the damage warrior, and there will be much happiness and gnashing of teeth.

I don't see anything wrong with 6 people having special vials, of which I doubt 1 will have more then 1 vial
Sylphas2006-06-27 02:57:12
No reselling the specs for secrets. They're worthless enough, but at least they're unique.

Umm... yes to the Specs of Clairvoyance, it's a REGULAR 400 artifact credit in other places (even though it started as an Artifact Auction item, however the appearance of it was changed), and I'd like to see it here.
Everyone should keep in mind that most artifacts will be sold again, and may in fact become regular artifacts sometime after the auction. Don't think just because you bought it, it should never come back.
Sylphas2006-06-27 03:09:02
I only think that of mine because they're really utterly useless and I only bought them to have something most people didn't. I don't the few pairs in existence to be unique because they suck, I want them to be unique because they were only sold once.

Well, those aren't particularly useful anyway... I don't think anyone else would want them really... popular items that aren't too ridiculous should always be sold again, and perhaps show up in the Artifact Shop at a later point in time. Things like the Specs... but not things like the Pet.
Unknown2006-06-27 03:16:40
As long as they show up at a price at least equal to or above what was paid at auction.

Nah, you pay a premium for having it early, and having it unique for a time. I've bought artifact auction items that have shown up in the Artifact shop for cheaper later, and I'm sure there has been other incidents. I don't care, because it is to be expected. What did Ixion pay for his Specs of Clairvoyance? The foreboding stone (previously known as gem of something at the auction) sells for 400 credits. I have one purchased from the shop. I'd like to get it here too.
Take for example the Market Stall. The first one sold for 2800 credits. They sold another as the very next artifact. I bought that one for 1600 credits. Hmmm... also they sold one for gold later... it sold for I believe only 1 million gold. Most people had spent their gold on other things already, which is why it went so cheap. They also never revealed how many of each artifact they were going to sell, or in what order, or anything like that... so the first market stall was going to be the only one, for all the first buyer and everyone else knew.
They've also sold like 8 of them since then... like at least 2 at every auction. I'm sure they top out at like 1100 credits now.
