Look at the 2046-2150 page. I actually find that really worrying. I also find it quite unlikely. Nomatter how many cybermen there are, there'll always be the Doctor some small group of people who wish to stay purely human.

it's really hard with the moon having no athmosphere and the radiation is a little bit too much, while in mars is more "hospitable" in terms of radiation and all that. You can't breathe there, but still.

I think we all saw that coming.

Lunar constructs will likely just be largely subterranean to deal with solar radiation efficiently. As technology develops, the Moon will also likely be commercially attractive long before Mars, which will probably be the impetus to actually establish large-scale stations on either of them.

I could mention a special type of virtual reality "entertainment" but technically I'm not old enough to even have heard about such a device, so yeah.. ahem. (Edit: and no it's not what most of you probably thought of.. )

Only things I think are possible on that list are:

* Human knowledge is exceeded by machine knowledge
* Virus wipes out half of the electronic pet population
* Synthetic bacteria is created
* Smart makeup works to improve people's looks(Please!)
* Police force privatized in many nations
* Autonomous production plants make everything
* Retirement age begins to be linked to a person's medical history(This would be nice..)
* Thought recognition as an everyday input process
* Self-diagnostic, self-repairing robots
* ID cards replaced by biometric scanning
* Fuel cells replace internal-combustion engines(I hope)
* Life expectancy approaches 100

... Self-daiagnosed, self-repairing computers are out now

We can create "synthetic bacteria" since 1980's

And there has been technology to run without fossil combustible... heck, there's the technology to run cars on WATER(H2O).. a process that takes a machine no bigger than the actual engine of a car... and it's not that expensive
