Think I'm confused a bit on the logic.

It'd either have to stay in all the time, which could probably lead to health problems and she couldn't have sex if she wanted to ... or it would have to be removeable (which is what it sounds like), in which case a rapist could remove it before getting caught in it, and be even more nasty about having had to do so.

Also, there's the whole "rape isn't about sex, it's about power" idea as well. Rapex sounds like an anti-sex device, not anti-rape.
