I need to do that again, to show it to more people *chin*

Yes, and thats really the point.

While aetherspace is a great way to release new areas, there are way too many people that don't have a way to get there by themselves. Maybe they know people with an aethership, maybe they can ask for a lift, but that then relies on people being around and willing to take them.

End result, for the majority of the playerbase access to aetherspace is limited at best.

I hadn't even known this existed. Came from the ur'guard note thingy at the peak, I'm guessing?

It looks and smells yucky.
Daganev2006-07-03 05:25:47
any particular reason they are fighting mold? That reminds me of a bad cowboy bepop episode...

I would have thought they would be fighting renegade finks or gnomes.

Would you consider an NPC deciding to offer an Aether-Ferry Service - going round a fixed route of limited stops - or possibly a "taxi-service" where you buy passage from somewhere on prime to another dock - cost based on distance and at the same time get a token that can be activated to summon the "taxi" for the return journey (Assuming you have enough gold to pay the return fare).

If you put that in more of us'll happily go explore aetherspace and you'll get more feedback... cool.gif

Considering that aether ships can get to the different planes, it's kind of like saying, yes, you -could- waste all these lessons on getting the abilties in Planar to be able to get to this plane, or you could just pay 500 gold and get there easier. Really, Aetherships are there basically to provide transport mainly to the spheres and for aether power and monsters, and be able to provide an alternate route for raiding and a different stage for fighting.

Taxi-services are easy enough for us to set up. Perhaps I should bug the wanderers into running one from the ronseyder... though then I would miss it...

Well...I got that 'undead legions' honors line, that headed over to help the mold commander. That was a bit of a small mistake...he stole my honors away right after I was done helping him and told me that my trial was completed. Doh. sad.gif

I did like it as a quest, though, as it was more interactive. Reminded me of the Angkrag Slave Master one.

Woah, you can't have both sides of the honours? Awesome!
Vix2006-07-05 01:24:35
Speaking of honors, can we have a way to turning off honors lines? sleep.gif

More quests should be like that

Agreed. You shouldn't have the honour of helping slave furrikin and helping care for them, for example. One sort of works against the other, really.

Exactly, it pisses me off too when people do both sides just because they are hungry for honors lines... it's so stupid.

There's no honours line for enslaving furrikin, however. The "Slave master of Angkrag" line refers to the enslaving of an orc who does not wish to be a blacksmith via a fairly easy mini-game that must be completed ten times for a small gold reward each time. (Once you have the line, the gold reward increases.)

However I agree that obtaining conflicting quest lines just to increase the length of your honours is pretty sad and inexplicable in terms of the game.

Heh, not to mention any names or anything... mellow.gif
Iblis2006-07-05 13:05:49
Yes, not to mention you or Raizan or anyone.

EDIT: After an insightful (inciteful?) message from Raizan in-game, I hereby respectfully retract my comment. Evidently he does not perform quests solely for the honours lines, despite the multiple opposing honours lines he possesses. My sincerest apologies for insulting your esteemed self.
