Bragging rights?
Diamondais2006-07-04 02:35:04
QUOTE
If a family grows to over 50 active members (that is, 50 people can use their family name), then that family will be considered a "Great House". Great Houses will automatically receive their own news group, be able to keep a family bank account, and have their own communication channel. If a family drops below 50 active members, it will lose its status of a Great House and the privileges associated with it.
Really just seems like a clan..
Richter2006-07-04 02:36:54
We could always have it lowered to 25. Though, still, there are other issues that need to be addressed.
Sylphas2006-07-04 03:00:52
Losing all your stuff because someone rejects family would SUCK. I'd much rather have a real clan.
Diamondais2006-07-04 03:26:35
Yeah especially since right now youd have to have half the games active population in your family to get it.

*nod* 50 might work in Achaea, or 5 years down the road here, but it's impossible right now. Mes'ard has what, 16, and they were doing their damnest to get it for most of the life of the game.
Diamondais2006-07-04 03:30:05
We need more people to join already made families instead of creating new ones as well.

Mes'ard is also missing a few officially.

Raan and Sulaeri married in, but they're not in the family tree. Cieli'll be considered after Kelysa's done. Peri should've been, but ... "guild lastlogin peri --> Last login was 238 days ago." Not counting Peri, if all them were in we'd have 20! Plus, Some of the other ones marked inactive shouldn't be. Hallen and Abrael, I'm pretty sure I've seen them around recently. That'd be 22!
Clearly, Ix's side of the family's been slacking off.
Kharvik2006-07-04 07:58:05
I agree it is pretty frustrating. Yuniko and I have just been RPing Athana being our daughter because how things are now.. it's impossible to adopt her even though we're old enough.
Sylphas2006-07-05 14:31:21
Oh, yay. Now I'm in the position of either sticking to my RP and being Nejii's unofficial brother, or letting him and Vix consider Shakaya, then marrying her and becoming an official Talnara as Nejii's son-in-law.
Gods I hate this system.

Well as long as nothing happens Saran and Sarin will be getting married eventually so yay one more Mes'ard for you

*chuckles* yup, now we just need to find a title we both like or something and bring on the confusion
Sylphas2006-07-05 15:28:10
I'll have to get on prefix you both "Seren". Seren Saran and Seren Sarin.

*petpet* Be a good son and fetch me a drink would you?
Richter2006-07-05 16:06:51
And the bad thing is, even though the Mes'ards have tried to snatch up half the game, their "inactive" family doesn't count towards a great house. Why? They're still part of the family, right?
Vix2006-07-05 16:10:07
Sylphas, you should RP both brother and son-in-law.
It'll be a little icky, but you'll be a Talnara.
