I'd like to start a warrior-type character....

Was thinking about a faeling ebonguard with dual rapiers....

Just want something good for bashing, and maybe a hint of pvp...

Also want some good roleplaying...

Any suggestions?

An Emo faeling with no regard of him self that just kills and barely talks because nothing matters but Glomdoring.

A follower of night that it's mute and evil

An egocentric faeling that goes around killing and when forced to retreat says he left because he got bored with the enemy and believes himself to be the strongest thing since Murphy

Was more asking what race and guild is good for roleplaying, bashing, and maybe pvp?

And I've beeen Ur'Guard, Paladin and Ebonguard... they all have good roleplay.. they all have "good" PvP and you are going to go bashing the same for each.. except Ebonguard and Serenguard, since trans Moon/Night has Dradown(moon)/Nightkiss(night)

As for races?

Roleplaying: any combination is good. Just don't go Viscanti in Celest or Serenwilde, you might have some trouble. Even more trouble if you are a Merian/Elfen (or to a lesser extent Furrikin or Faeling) in Magnagora. Don't know about Glomdoring.

Bashing: bashing is easy, and it's more dependant on your weapons (hint: you want high SPEED) than race. So everything is viable. Loboshigaru have the easiest time at the start because they regenerate health like crazy.

PvP: just read my post on the Combat forum, thread: "best warrior races for...". Faeling is a good option for Glomdoring, because of the specialisation which makes them a nice option. Unspecced (read: non-Glomdoring, or Ebonguard who take Hunting, not Totems) faelings suck.

roleplaying a merian or elfen in the Ur'guard isnt a big problem. I'm not saying we're going to be alright with it. IC we will most likely treat you like a second class citizen, but that in itself can be interesting if you feel up to it.

The biggest problem with that is Merian/Elfen are not allowed to draw nexus power so you will have to link astral for your power.
