Ask permission to get in, obviously. Talk to them. Don't just wander in at random.

Yep, Sylphas is right on the money. Roleplaying it isn't hard. If you want to join Glomdoring, unless you're some kind of freaking moron or hated enemy, sending Shayle a tell ususally works wonders. I'm actually pretty sure that this isn't strange or out of the ordinary---do other nations just let in anyone who wants to join without a little chat first?

depends on the nation
on Magnagora I had to donate like 500 power to get in... also a small talk and reasoning and a little brainwash
When I was kicked out of Celest for the first time I went to a heck of a trail with Terentia, but that was another thing... Funny how you can turn from an average citizen to a hated traitor to a zelous and respected follower to a even more hated traitor

I'm not talking about the novices... you people take care of the youngings and I like that.. but
What about a 50th circle 30 year old ex-Paladin Aslaran?
Exactly how one can know about Glomdoring to join in without, let's say, walking around asking for information about it personally?
I mean, people would go blindly without knowing anything but what the Other commune and the cities tell them?
Tell Shayle Umm, excuse me but may I ask/speak to you about something?
Shayle tells you "Yes, what do you need?"
Tell Shayle I was wondering if it would be possible/considering joining the commune of Glomdoring...I can ask you a few things about the forest/would it be possible for this to happen?
Shayle tells you "Of course, what would you like to know?" -or- "Of course, meet me at the Master Ravenwood Tree?"
aaannndd there you have it. Simple, easy, and you now know that shayle's a wonderful person and not as evil as one may think.
Archthron2006-07-11 04:02:11
Ahhh, but it doesn't really work like that. At least, not when I try it.

Of course the problem with that is that it requires that Shayle be logged in 24 hours a day, 7 days a week...
Oh, she is

Even though Shayle and Xenthos may not know this.. the laws of Glomdoring are not posted because Mother Night does not like these things being known.

Glomdoring: We're not just difficult, we're mysterious.

Glomdoring: We're a little satan.
