Wait, no, what am I saying? If he was roleblocked and there was no night kill, then if he was scum, that follows.
And the name he gave could be scum as well, hiding their true purpose.
Shiri2006-07-28 01:31:34
If you "healed" (protected?) me, why did you do that specifically?
Diamondais2006-07-28 01:37:36
I kinda have to join in with the others and wonder how you knew, what was wrong with Shiri and what your motives were in the situation.
Verithrax2006-07-28 11:09:29
First, I didn't vote for Daganev, wtf, Requiem?
Second, I picked Shiri out at random. I had no information but assumed that it's more likely I'd be helping a townie and also likely that I can't help the scum. Third, all I know is that I was aeoned - Someone around is a Tarot scum user, or something, and that makes me paranoid. Third, what I *can* do is pick out someone to heal them of a broken heart. Apparently, I don't have the ability to succor yet.

No, silly. Daganev voted for you.
Verithrax2006-07-28 11:53:26
D'oh.
Iridiel2006-07-28 12:23:08
There's things that lead me to believe that Verithrax was saying the truth when saying he wins with teh town and is a wiccan healer.
So, to me right now the most suspicious person is Daganev because he seems in a hurry to lynch Verithrax, but he always looks suspicious anyway.
Just in case:
vote Daganev

Daganev's actions seem perfectly in line with Daganev's usual actions and accusations. I see nothing scummy about them, in all honesty. A few things are leading me to believe that Verithrax might be telling the truth as well.
I'll think back at posts people have made and make an intelligent accusation of some kind after I've had some sleep. I've had about three hours of sleep in the past 50 - I'm about to pass out. I blame the Nightfall (Guildwars: Chapter 3) beta weekend event
Shiri2006-07-28 13:23:29
I'm not particularly convinced Verithrax is telling the truth...and that ninja-lynch was especially scummy, although given that he couldn't've known (or could he?) that the death didn't show us who Brad was, it would've looked stupid.
Vote: Verithrax.
I can never tell when Daganev is being scummy or not since he just generally refuses to make sense 95% of the time, but I wouldn't say the conclusion that Verithrax is being scummy is exactly outlandish.
Although Iridiel, could you expand on why you think Verithrax is innocent please?

With 10 alive it's 6 to lynch.
They're even in the right order this time. So there.

I didnt like how he got on peoples cases about trying to lynch a newbie (Brad) to the game yet had no trouble doing the same to me the previous day.

There was never any indication that you were a newbie, and if you look back, I ended up voting for brad anyways.
Also, Diamondais, at this point in the game we shouldn't be doing random votes anymore. It just makes us more likely to kill ourselves instead of the scum.
Diamondais2006-07-28 19:17:43
Im not doing a random vote, you said it was wrong to vote for a newbie yet did it anyways. Seems a bit off in my book. And yes, there was an indication in the signup and my asking questions about whether I could do something or not.
Daganev2006-07-28 21:12:21
If you read the thread over again, you will see that Quid convinced me that mercy for newbs is a mistake.
I was arguing that it was better to get rid of the nonnewb before you get rid of the newb, and Quid showed me otherwise.
Also, I did not read the thread untill the game started, and lastly, I thought I wrote this but apparently I didn't, I ment that brad was a noob to the forums, having only 5 posts to his name, while you have almost 1,000.
I'm sorry if I didn't explain that well. Out of game reasons are not good reasons to vote or not vote for someone, unless its a behavior issue.

Fine, until a better reason comes up.
Unvote: Daganev
Also, Daganev, Ill remind that my role is purely about chance. Gambling and the such. There is no constant.

Maybe that has to do with your actions, but it's not like you seem to have a posting restriction or anything influencing your voting decisions outside of your own choices, so if you do end up doing something stupid "my role is random" doesn't really look like it's going to cut it.
Diamondais2006-07-29 01:40:40
No, Im not about randomness. I can still take a gamble with a vote and gauge a reaction though, or am I just wrong in this and should just stick with everyone elses choices? If no reaction comes, Im back to where I started with people against me. Seems regardless of what I do I will have that though, thats life.
Unknown2006-07-29 08:33:02
Just to clarify, I only have a few posts in the real forums, because Realworld doesn't add to post count. Still don't have near 1000 though :-P
Unknown2006-07-30 04:27:30
Sorry for not chatting much. I've got the flu and an 18th AND and 21st going on. I won't be on much for the next couple days and I won't be voting until I take a good look at the last two pages and what is posted by the time I get back.
Iridiel2006-07-31 13:19:34
Ouch! The reply notification isn't working Sorry about the inactivity.
I will disclose fully my reasons for believing in Verithrax innocence only if needed. We don't have to give scum more information than what we absolutely need to to find them out.
And I just see Daganev very lynch happy and trying to blame the guilt on somebody else "Quid made me rethink newbie mercy was mad". But he's usually chaotic so my vote isn't really firm. But I am all for trying to find some information about people that hasn't roleclaimed even a bit and look scummy.
