Asking for proof of stuff in a situation like this is basically nonsense as there's no proof that can be given. I am just vouching for Verithrax innocence and I think there was somebody else thinking the same as myself. It's each person who has to decide if they trust me or not based on their gut feelings, night actions, spirit advice, whatever... And right now and given your past and current attitude I don't trust you. You look like you're pushing other people to roleclaim to corroborate what I said and thus giving the scum more information for the night.

That was kind of a lame excuse, and I think you're probably deliberately misunderstanding his asking for "proof" there. Vote Iridiel.

I don't think I've ever asked anyone to roleclaim unless they're at the brink of being lynched. I was trying to explain to you how flimsy your vouching for verithrax really is, and how unreasonable it is for you to vote for anyone who is foolish enough not to agree with you, so to speak.

I vote acording to what I know.
I know verithrax is innocent.
I will be voting for anybody trying to lynch an innocent if only to stop them and make them think. I cannot offer any proof besides giving more details so I cannot make Quid happy without helping the scum.
Vote for me all you want, in the end you'll be proven wrong. Or if I am right and Quid is mafia then I guess he'll be happy.

I think Daganev may have been onto something with their logical deductions.
I don't see how anyone could doubt that Verithrax is scum with all of those statements, and Iridiel and Diamondais are protecting him for some reason, and same with Shorlen. Their excuse for it was rather scummy aswell, for simply voting for someone that is voting for someone allone does not prove that that person isn't scum. But four scum is an awful lot, eh? Something seems wronge there, although maybe not. Although if it is a scum-alliance all they need to do is convince one person that they're telling the truth and they win. If they are telling the truth it would mean there's still atleast one other person that is townie, which would be me, and possibly another person or two.(depending on how many scum there is, and how many we've already taken out).
Being that I'm a townie but never knew about anyone else, I'm going to assume it would be highly unlikely for the majority of townies to know who the other townies are(and that'd make the game pretty pointless if almost all the townies knew who they were, and really frusterating for people like me that don't know who's townie or not.) I have a role, although a rather useless one like Diamondais'(not shure if it is or not, but it sounds pretty useless to me), it still has let me find out that Archer2 is not scum, which would again be odd if there was so many people like that but Archer2 was unincluded.
NEW POST HERE(just incase the forum is still doing that add to previous post thing.
The people I think are the actual good people are Shiri, Quidgyboo, Archer2, Myself, and possibly Shorlen(they never stated they had absolute proof that Iridiel was true, just that they thought very muchso, so it's kindof iffy.). I have no idea about Forren. I keep thinking Forren and Shorlen are the same person for some reason(=Forlen). I'm going to go with everyone that I believe to be good people and pressure Iridiel since they are another person I believe scum, therefore;

So please tell me how I am 'protecting' Verithrax, Id love to know.

I love how I get bandwagoned for pointing out the weaknesses in an argument. Can someone explain to me how that makes me scum? In every argument/debate I've been in you don't automatically lose for finding weaknesses in someone elses statements .
I understand Verithrax jumping onto my vote, he's in danger of a vote himself so he'll take any chance to point the spotlight somewhere else, but why you Shorlen? That was way too easy a jump; very scummy of you to switch over like that in the middle of a bandwagon (which is a general newbie indicator of scum) without pointing your finger at me beforehand.
And you Forren? Same questions to you as to Shorlen.
I was not going to vote Iridiel until Iridiel voted for me. I didn't see anything scummy in her (?) arguments, but not being able to defend yourself when you're not being voted against is pretty weak. I don't think it's unreasonable for me to say that your willingness to vote anyone who disagrees with you is a very flimsy stance.

I didn't consider the weaknesses as weak as you did, and having Iridiel say that I had discovered before I said it makes me believe her, especially when Verithrax says something about being able to heal someone's heart long before Daganev's heartburst message, and before Daganev mentioned the burst vessels at night.
That indicates to me that either Verithrax actually CAN cure someone's heart, or he can heartburst. Since I know he did nothing last night, the former is far, far more likely.
Therefore, the people who are trying to bandwagon Verithrax are, to me, highly suspicious. The people trying to bandwagon Iridiel for defending him are just as suspicious.
I switched my vote from Forren, who I'm still not convinced is a townie, to Quid, who also seems extremely scummy to me, because noone would vote for Forren with me. If you can't get one scum lynched, get another equally scummy person lynched - it gets the game moving, and the scum dead.
Tsaephai is rising on my scumminess tracker, rising above Forren.
To say this simply:
The people I think are scum are Forren (not extremely sure of this anymore actually, but he still seems scummy to me from his posts/voting habits), Quidgyboo, and Tsaephai.
The people I think are townies are Iridiel, Verithrax, (Dagenev ), and Diamondais.

A townie is a regular person with no special abilities that wins with the town, ie, the "good guys".

With 9 alive it's 5 to lynch.

I didn't connect Daganev talking about dripping blood with Heartburst, I don't actually know the skill well enough to know the effects of it. So I suppose I missed that connection, thanks for clearing it up.

You know he did nothing last night, but did he do something during the day? We don't know the time frames or time restrictions on the skills this game. The fact that roles are not being released on death says to me that this game probably has a few wildcard roles, such as a ressurector (spelling? I'm rushing this). If no one is rezz'd tonight I guess I'll assume I'm wrong or the ressurector has been killed. What other reasons/roles require that roles are not released on death?

I've always been suspicious of claims where people make blanket assertions, that is why I reacted strongly against Iridiel. I was sick for a week remember, so I can only assume I missed a great deal of your talk of tracking. I didn't click with what you were saying compared with what iridiel was saying earlier, which would have confirmed both of your statements insofar as you're either both scum or telling the truth.
So I suppose I have to unvote iridiel

So I seem scummy because I didn't pick up on the whole you and Iridiel basically confirming eachother, sort of thing, right? Fair enough, that's my bad.

Tsae just seemed to ramble a little too incoherantly for my tastes. I suppose when you comapred to Tsae's playing in other games that does seem scummy. Also the inactivity is a scum pointer in my books. Come to think of it, shiri has been fairly inactive too. He just pops in, makes a vote or changes his vote, and pops out. Why's that Shiri?
I'll have a bit of a think before I decide what to do next.
Iridiel2006-08-10 07:55:01
Nobody land the last vote on Quid until he has a chance to roleclaim something credible and convices us he's not a scum. Right now, trying to send our eyes towards Tsae and Shiri for being inactive makes me think they're in different teams OR he's trying to make sure they don't look suspicious if we find out he's a scum (after all, scum wouldn't vote for scum right?)
If it sounds confusing, it's 9:50am and I just arrived to work. So sorry

Actually, and as far as I know, there has been no talk outside of this thread so you can always just re-read the thread not to miss any possible talk, justification, reasoning...
Including why does Shorlen thinks about psionic abilities and a description of their effects if I am not mistaken.
