I'm curious about you guys, heard of any stories that still hunt you to this very day when you remember it? Something that makes you feel uneasy?
One thing I remembered is about a 'ghost' who either corrects you while praying and reciting 'Our Father' or makes fun out of it.
1st Version:
There was this person whose religion is that of a Catholic, whenever he recites his prayers, he recites them fast, so fast that you'll just heard 'Our Father - Amen'.
One night he heard footsteps, opening and slamming of doors and a soft chuckle of a girl's voice. Scared, he began to kneel, bowed his head and closed his eyes in front of the mirror where the Cross is on top and recites 'Our Father' again and again, as fast as his mouth can give.
Suddenly there was silence, and he was a bit relieved that the 'thing' is gone. As he open his eyes, he saw a girl, around the age of 10, thin and pale, smiling and staring at him blankly. Fear gripped into his mind as he began to see the girl open her mouth and recited the 'Our Father' in a perfect, overacting way.
Then the guy just collapse. The next morning, he promised to himself he would recite the prayer correctly, although not the way the ghost girl did to him.
2nd Version:
There was this priest who has a dark secret, he's a womanizer and always sleeps with women whenever he gets a chance to do so. During mass, he would look like a holy man, free of impurity and sin but as soon as his 'dark' side gets the better hold of him, he would be like an animal to these women.
One night, after another woman slept with him. He felt 'empty' and thinks of all the things he had done, he felt sorry for his sins and wanted to make amended with God. So he went to an altar and pray reverently.
After the prayers, he went to the bathroom to wash his face before calling it a night. As he switched on the light and faces the mirror, a hideous face was there in front of him, the eyes bulging out, the skin peeled off from his face showing the skull, the teeth, decayed and a black as if it didn't brushed his teeth for years.
Terror was in him, the priest open his mouth and begins to tremble, he couldn't move, he was now paralyzed with fear.
The 'thing' cackled hellishly and recited several prayers in a different and disgusting way, replacing some with the vulgar ones, mocking it in every way.
Next day they found out the priest died because of a heart attack and later found out his dark secrets. His body cremated and his ashes scattered, the people who once respected this 'holy' man is all but gone.
