Ok, I can understand Methrenton, you guys were there long enough with enough people to take him out. But Shakiniel too? We were killing you all off at methrenton, and somehow in the midst of all this, the few Mag survivors took out Shakiniel? I mean...what the ? Unless somehow you guys took out Shakiniel BEFORE you started fighting Methrenton...I don't know. You would've had to do that in about 2 seconds, since half of Celest was there trying to find you guys.

No, because the reflectors themselves are left vulnerable.

The reflections are cast before any attacking takes place. At this point, another mage can reflect that mage... how are they left vulnerable?
