for getting corpses

create a variable "getcorpse"

trigger "You have slain randommob" to set "getcorpse" to 1

Set "You have recovered eq/bal" to

"If getcorpse = 1
then get corpse
set variable getcorpse = 0
end if"

You have a semi acquisitio trigger for your bashing needs

I had a "bashing mode" I'd turn on that always did "point staff @target" whenever I regained eq. As far as I understand it, that's not illegal, since I never left the pc. It's when you start having your system move rooms and stuff to find new targets that it gets to be illegal. This bashing mode also got me killed tons of times since I'd get jumped and continue to attack the creature, or I'd get too low and before I could turn it off to flee I'd attack again and fail at life doh.gif

There's no reason why you couldn't have sat their doing SIP HEALTH every minute or so, and is it really that hard to change the target with your system? rolleyes.gif

I died on test because Tekora, I think, decided to judge me because I was autostaffing an Avatar and they had decided it was immortal. I switched my target, but reflexively staff pointing is not a good way to stay alive. You have to spam a command to catch your equilibrium.

Which is why you would have an alias set up would turn off said hunting triggers/variables.

Not that I have anything set up, my experimenting got erased when I had to reformat a few days ago; and it didn't take into account things that knockdown and you lose balance(while using an eq based attack) or things that evoke which you need to nullify. Actually I did try fiddling with that, ended up nullifying 100% of the time instead of moonbursting doh.gif

Even with aliases to turn it off though, from what I've heard they're just too dangerous and can get you killed, or have you accidentally attacking allies/allied mobs.

dunno.gif Anywho, if you are a wiz with all of that (or at least more then me, which isn't hard) just remember that your auto-hunting triggers can -not- move you around an area AND kill things automatically, you need a small amount of manual in there so you don't go all shrubby.

Me? I'm fine with my moonburst/sip health/eat sparkleberry/nullify aliases, with triggers to writhe and stand on the 'you can't do that because' messages for them, and of course all the recovery messages are highlighted.

I demand a shrubby smilie!

I used to have a ratting one I used in Imperian but it just killed 3 rats, picked them up, counted them, and picked up gold. I had to move and start the process.. so I guess it wasn't completely auto..

I'm also pretty sure I have *every* letter on my keyboard set to do something. Because when I played Achaea and imperian I didn't know what triggers were (until I got that ratting thing) but I had aliases out the Wingwang.

if autobashing was allowed i would be unenemied to everywhere and never have started pk till i reached titan...while i was igasho i could kill all krokanis all gorgogs and anything else on prime without having to sip health mana or anything. Obviously this would be unfair as i would just leave it running 24/7 with timers so i know when to kill what...

My influencing is set to change which one I use each round and influence again when I regain equilibrium. I have to change targets and stuff, but my system sips for me and cycles through the different influences. Doesn't help much in Tosha, though tongue.gif
Sylphas2006-07-26 22:08:48
Tosha is such a bitch to influence. One of the reasons bashing works better than influencing, one I've not seen mentioned, is that bashing clears a room. Influenced mobs stay around, forcing you to memorize or keep lists of what you've already influenced. Especially doesn't help when they wander.

Heh, I don't have a single trigger. Every alpabet key is a alias set to do a command instead. xD

I go much manual all the way, use the number keys for potions, etc. As well as a few keybinding for moving in aetherspace. Atleast people can't trigger me to use up potions or herbs. tongue.gif
