Can't use the icon, on account of my opinions on divine characters, but the people behind them sure put up with a heckuva lot.

Just remember, no matter what you do, someone out there is going to be upset that you did it. The only way to avoid complaints is to make sure no one notices you're there at all.

Except me, of course, 'cause I've never in my life complained about anything. Well, okay, I did complain once about how much complaining goes on, but then I started whining at myself about my blatant display of disrespect until I gave in and apologized, though not without a snide remark about how passive aggressive I can be, which started a whole new internal quarrel about how only a total lame-o would argue with himself.

I guess my point is we're all a little nuts. Few of us even know what we want, and when we do get what we ask for and find out it it's not some magical panacea, we tend to shoot the delivery guy and run off with his wallet, leaving him to lie on the doorstep in a pile of stone cold mushroom and anchovie pizzas with garlic butter dipping sauce.

Hip hip, hurrah! for the Presidio. I have no idea what's going on there yet, but that place looks fabulous, and big, and full of stuff to puzzle out and things to kill. Nice, very nice.

Yeah, I have to say, I absolutely adore the new place too.

why does the catherderal have the name "Shallam" in it?

Because the builder liked how 'Shallamurine' sounded?

It has several connections with Shallamar.
