I have a list of little things which have cropped up/need ansewering/wierd folk find interesting.
  • Who Awakened Sun and Lake? Auseklis could have made Lake...
  • Did Blooredi make Sister Snake and then spilnter into the Nagadrji-whatsit's?
  • Snow Valley was mentioned in the Book of Tae. Has the valley with the bees yet to be discovered, and is Dracnoris' cave that little place near the southern end of the Razines?
  • If 3 is the original number of creation (Dracnoris), then do we need 3,000,000 power to raise a Vernal? fear.gif
  • Where do Angels, -whatever-shallamar-had-before-cosmic-hope- come from in tems of creation?
  • The Book of Tae mentions the Fae as lesser spirits, meaning what exactly? Splintered Hive Souls?
DISCUSS! whip.gif

EDIT: Feel free to post additions to the list.

Angels came when Kethuru needed somoene to wash his dirty socks. You know how men of power are too lazy to wash their own socks, so he created Angels to wash them for him.

I assume angels and their shallamar equivalents were created by the plane's native half-formed.

I thought of that, but put the emphasis on HALF-FORMED. It was difficult for even the Elders to make anything vaguely more than regular animals, implying that those who weren't even actual gods yet making creatures who had all sorts of cool powers 'n' stuff would be ... odd, to say the least
Hazar2006-07-22 16:35:23
You're thinking about it too hard. If it troubles you, think of the angels more as the half-formed's offspring through meiosis.
Unknown2006-07-22 16:35:44
Oh, and I forgot to say: Feel free to find more stuff to add to my list, and post it here!

Oh, wait. If Imps and Cherubs are made from Fae... explode.gif
Unknown2006-07-22 16:42:47
You have to remember the books you're reading about are pre-elder wars and pre-vernal wars, the Soulless munched on the First world for an unspecified amount of time as well. Who's to say the cave where a Primal god used to sleep is even on the first world anymore, let alone is in the small part of it called the basin of life?

As for splintering I think we'll need to wait one or two more books until we get into that. frenzy.gif

All Fae were originally cherubs. Silly Celest not realising that the Cherubs have been trapped by the curse of Nature in the form of Fae, and should be taken to Raziela to be returned to their original and natural form.

Hopefully the next!

Well, this may not be right at all but this is how I used to think about the angels. There were origionally the Supernals created, theyre half-formed, and the Mortals one day saw the Ethereal and thought to bring the Fae to the Light and so tried bringing them around the Supernals. At Raz she turned them into cherubs and as time went on the cherubs grew up into the other types of angel and finally atained the archangel status.

And about the bee valley, Im willing to bet its in Ackleberry if anywhere.

I am firm in my belief that Auseklis awakened Tree, dispite my earlier claims. If you pay attention to the Book of Trillillial, she mentions tree as an one of the spirits within the Sixth Circle. To add to that, the Great Tree Spirit has a venom against the cities, and does not care for the wyrd that Glomdoring is. Auskelis, when he was still around, hated cities and didn't care much about Glomdoring - saying that it indeed was nature.

And I am not sure Blooredi would become the Nagaradja. In most cases, it seems that the Elder Gods had their name somewhat liken to the race. Elfenahoala - Elfen, Tae - Tae'dae, etc. I was going to write a Bardic on the fictional Elder God Nagarad, but that fell through when I got bored and decided to accidentally delete the file. sad.gif

Fae as lesser spirits, that only means that they are not like a Great Spirit - they are not as strong in will and strength. Not to mention, you cannot put Hive Souls and Fae together. Fae were awakened, Hive Souls were created.

Eep! Just thought. Weren't the Angels called "divine templates" at some point? And what were the names of -what-shallamar-had-before-cosmic-hope-, goddies?

Oh, and new things to discuss: Names of guilds in unrealeased orgs. So far we have:
Halli
Legion
Institute(?)
Aeromancers
Gaudi
Wyvern Riders
Illuminati
Pyromancers
Ackle
-warrior- (presumably something-guard)
-wiccan- (Riverdance? laugh.gif)
-druid-
Skarch
w/e-Guard
-wiccan-
-druid-

This is of course assuming that the Skarch WILL exist pray.gif .

If any Admins are reading this: pleasesign.gif

My bad doh.gif

And how can you decide to do something accidentally?

Jasper2006-07-22 17:08:47
When you are clearing out documents by deleting folders instead of each thing singularly, then realizing what you did and end up sad. sleep.gif

Oh, and for Ackleberry - I think many of us agree that Bearclaw would be a good name for their Druids, but there is no historical information to make that be true.
Diamondais2006-07-22 17:09:38
You could think its something else..Ive done that. sad.gif

And no! Ackleberry Wiccans shall not be Riverdancers or Lakedancers.
Unknown2006-07-22 17:13:29
...SUNBATHERS!
and maybe Lakeskimmers. That's not bad actually...

...Ackleberry loses for intimidation. doh.gif

Sneaking through the forest, an orcish raider turns and snarls as he's suddenly confronted by what appears to be an oversized teddy bear in a nightgown. The creature raises his athame dagger and snarls as he declares loudly, "Foul creature, I am Smiley Sugarbottom, King of the Riverdancers and Defender of the Ackleberry!"

The orc falls over and breaks several ribs from laughing so hard.

But then the fae swarm over him and leave nothing but a skeleton after 30 seconds.

Edit: Also, it was the Holy Emanations of Shallamar. Before they got transformed into the Demon Lords we all know and love. Also also, the Fates hung out up in Shallamar for some reason...
Unknown2006-07-22 17:35:29
Shorlen called them Honeyguard at some point. That would have much the same effect.

We *were* considering having the Ackleberry Druids be Bearclaws, but then decided in a majority vote that Chocolate eclairs are far, far superior.
Unknown2006-07-22 18:45:01
There isn't going to be a goddamn Skarch commune. glare.gif
Unknown2006-07-22 18:47:32
Ackleberry is doomed to destruction/being ejected into aetherspace to float alone forever, before it's even been born.
Unknown2006-07-22 18:47:59
Oooh! Chocolate Eclairs! Can I eat 'em?
