Also, the Wyvern Riders are not the Gaudiguch warrior's guild. Guild's can only be one word long, so even if they were it will have to be changed, just like the Night Coven, the Raven Circle, ect.

Why do guilds have to be only 1 word? There are helpfiles that consist of more than one word. All the artifact ones, for example.

I'm pretty sure every guild in every IRE game is one-word long... right?

Actually, with Houses in Achaea, I know that the Bard guild is now "Ty Beirdd" which is two words. And there's the Spirit Walkers, and a couple other two word Houses.
Hazar2006-07-22 18:57:22
The Ackleberry coven was specifically called the Lake Coven in the histories, so it will be (assuming it ever is) the Lakedancers.

Yeah, but we all know Houses are retarded.

A couple of things after re-reading the histories...
Gaudiguch's warrior guild was mentioned at one point as the "militia," while Hallifax's was referred to as the "legions." Those sound like nice, one-word names for a warrior guild, while also reflecting the cities' concepts. Also, lucidians do not get to name anything ever again.
The Serenwilde and Ackleberry covens were referred to as the "Moon Dance" and "Lake Wood" covens. So... Lakewoods? Lakewooders? Maybe they'll just toss Ackleberry a new Archetype instead of going to the trouble of coming up with a name that involves "Lake" and doesn't sound silly.
I need to go IC at some point and ask Glomdoring's leaders why Rowena Nightshade, Kethuru fangirl, is still alive, though that doesn't help this discussion. On an equally unrelated note, I think Viravain might be obsessed with pastries.
Finally... I the backstory and history of this game, and eagerly await the day when we have the complete Elder Wars set...
...we need some more blackmail information on the Elders, already.

Question, question! What is the meaning of Balach in the mugwumpi tongue? Is there even a meaning? Can I make it up myself? (I already tried asking a long time ago IG but to no avail)

Don't ask me. Xen doesn't know why, he's disliked Rowena since the event that opened the Commune.

What I need to figure out is the order of some things that happened when Grutina Oakvine was alive originally (and smitten down by her brother). No can read everything we have and figure out which came first, her death or the formation of the Serenguard. Darn ambiguities!

I'd assume her death came first, because the time during her rebellion it would have been far too chaotic to have the nice little gathering of Wiccans, Druids, and Centaurs that they had. If only for that reason, I'd vote for her death first.

Everyone is at this point pretty sick of Rowena, and only slightly more tolerant of Brennan (who's the cooler of the two, but still a pompous ass). But how exactly do you propose getting rid of them?

They're undead.. kick them to Mag.. and maybe they'll stuff them in Ankrag?
Then they could torture her to build an alembic, and stop bitching about how commune-vs-city warfare is impossible?
Diamondais2006-07-22 20:59:10
I can understand Brennan staying as he is the caretaker of the Ravenwood, but is there any -real- reason that Rowena is still there? I remember that even the other denizens hate her.
Like, I understand she was needed for the Crow quests but you know what, Crow is never ever going to fall again and someone else could easily fill her shoes.

Actually, I had the idea of getting her to join Mag because she despises the current situation and wanted to rule Glomdoring. So I thought someone could offer her Mags help for her help for a while.
...
Never was realized though.
