And you need to stop contradicting yourself.

Sure, Iceman makes so much more sense than Nightcrawler. I mean, he can instantly coat himself in snow and form tons of ice without dehydrating everything around him. Angel can fly, even though there is no evidence of any physical abnormality aside from his wings. Where do his flight muscles attach? Are all his bones hollow? If so, why isn't he fragile? Etc, etc.

This is the greatest thread ever.
Daganev2006-07-21 23:16:08
Angel is an original X-man? I didn't think so..
However, Iceman has the ability to remove heat from objects to the point of them freazing... it doesn't have to be water. He could freeze oxygen if he wanted to.

Thats not angel, thats white wings in a blue suit boy! And you can clearly see he isn't flying but rather is on one of those kungfu zip lines!

I find it funny how a topic of Religion turned to X-Men.
I'm easily amused...

Probably a competitor for "best thread ever" AND "best hijack ever."
Diamondais2006-07-22 02:00:17
How about for the most contradictory thread as well? Seeing as a certains someones arguement -kept- changing.
Shiri2006-07-22 02:05:24
No, he does that every thread.

I get accused of being rediculously stubborn, and for keep changing my argument...
why can't a person be influenced by the facts and yet still come to the same conclusion?
theres more than one way to skin angel's zipline induced, magical wings off you know!

Since its already been necrod once...WOLVERINE WAS NOT MADE... he is a mutant, his mutation is his accelrated healing rate which alsmo means he ages very slowly and HE HAS NATURAL CLAWS. This was found out when Magneto stripped the adamantium from Wolverine and he had bone claws underneath.
And Nightcrawler doesn't teleport, he manipulates dimensional space to enter a dimension of demons where time moves much quicker than here, he travels through it and then steps back out again, this is why you get the purple smoke its the atmosphere escaping from that dimension.

Wolverine had bone claws? Is that retcon? All I remember is the regeneration.

Nope its actually happened more than once. Trying to find issue number for the first one... UXM 304 was teh start of fatal attractions this is the crossover it happened in. After having it taken out forcibly in a fit of rage wolverine goes into the Danger Room and instinctively lets out his claws, and they come out, but they are bone.
In AoA where Wolverine never appears as anything other than Weapon-X it didn't happen, but AoA is an alternate timeline, so UXM is the strictest canon. But anyway trying to follow the Marvel Multiverse requires a degree in Quantum Mechanics

Interesting how a thread that was attemped to be killed on the first page a few days ago is still expanding... and in the oddest direction: X-men cults anyone?
