Hello all,

I’m new to Lusternia and I have to say this game is a lot of fun. I like the city-city conflict and the quests that allow you support your civilization. I just started a villainous Nihilist Elfen for the roleplaying opportunities. While Magnagora is a lot of fun, is there some neutral area to meet roleplayers from the other communities without being blasted by the city statues? Alternately, what would I need to do to be allowed to pass freely through Serenwilde and Glomdoring?

Char Description: Kalaak is a graceful elfen and is extremely tall (6ft 5in) and his emaciated frame reminds you of a stick scarecrow. The twisted elfen’s narrow and angular face is dominated by a jaw so elongated it is almost a snout. Kaalak’s lips have been cut away from his face, revealing a bleeding mouth filled with an abnormal number of iron-colored teeth. A filthy rag is tied around his head, serving as a blindfold. Two crimson stains bleed through the blindfold where his eye sockets should be. His long black hair is pulled tight against his skull and bound in a single ponytail, behind his small pointed ears. Patches of crusty filth cover his ivory skin. Around his neck hangs a copper wire impaling two shrunken heads, the size of pixie skulls.

Hello there! Welcome to Lusternia!

To answer your questions, sorry there is no neutral area like the one you are thinking. Possibly you are looking for something along the lines of North of New Thera or North of Trees in other IRE games? However, standing at our city nexus could provide some interesting experiences which you can try to take part in. Second, as a member of the Nihilists - you probably would have a hard time passing freely through the forest of Serenwilde. Since you are what is considered Tainted in the game, your only form of safe passage is using the road. Glomdoring is an entirely different matter, as in they won't let you in whatsoever, most likely.

first of all, Elfen aren't allowed as Magnagoran characters. you would be considered a second-class citizen at best, and would never be allowed to draw power.Second of all, I suppose you could meet at the top of Avechna's peak or the Portal of Fate, since both locations are peaced

You can't expect a lot of RP meetings with members of other organisations, at least as a novice. Later, if you grow a reputation of a "harmless" person (like Ialie or Tully), people will be more open towards you, but as a newbie you will be kindly (or less kindly) told to leave.

There is a more-or-less neutral place though. The Aetherplex near Avechna's Peak, although I'd beware - people sometimes jump each other out there, but rarely without good reason (read: killing a griefer).

No dreams are being crushed. It's simply that there aren't any "set" places to meet with other RPers. And entering unfriendly (not quite enemy) territory to search RP might be also a bad idea.

BUT
If you can meet someone on a highway, you can talk to them. Same for if met in a bashing ground. Due to Avenger protection, I doubt they'd try to PK you.

Of course, you cannot expect to have a friendly snuggly talk with a Celestian for example, but there's a chance, for example, to have an aggresively-toned (but nonviolent) discussion on "Taint being better than Light" or something along the lines.

And here is Bali.

You can never enter the Glomdoring, filthy outsider!

On the other hand, if you're into RP, consider making a Blacktalon or Shadowdancer alt. They're pretty damn fun.

Ebonguard are fun too, actually, Glomdoring is just fun period. Youll find pros and cons to each place and youll probably be under the scorn of one place at all times.

The neutral organizations you can find are all clans. I'd suggest you check out Deepnight, there's occasionally people around there. As for finding roleplay, it generally finds you.
