Subj: Village Influence Change

Until further notice, when villages are in-play, village feelings will
not be active. (Though you'll still see them on POLITICS, they won't be
factored in during influencing.)

Just a question. This post was written a pretty long while ago, and I've just been wondering if village feelings are still not active, or if they've been turned on unannounced, because some people seem to think the villages are behaving like village feelings are having effects again but haven't heard the announce saying they are.

I'd love it if one of the Administrators could clear this up. smile.gif Thank you.

what happens if a village is feeling frisky?

Don't ruin my serious thread with your tom-foolery. smile.gif However, thanks for bumping. smile.gif

Only while a village is in play, or completely? :uncertain:

Since the feelings only come into play when the village is being influenced... it doesn't matter? What you do can still raise/lower their feelings, but it has no practical advantage/disadvantage, so it doesn't change anything.

Ignore me, I completely misread the announce posting.

Why were they turned off again? Seemed like a good thing to me.
Soll2006-07-28 10:51:24
Because it was making some village revolts last about 2 minutes, and some still last a huge amount of time.
Shorlen2006-07-28 12:45:38
Also, they were horrendusly unbalanced. Eight hours a day of hard influencing effected villages less than conquest did just by existing. So... why bother with religious/commercial?
