I mean, I really like the skillset, but the only reason for getting to trans is for the increased ego regen from the extra skillrank.


It would be nice if until the person did an action (like it says) no one can actually attack them directly, attempting to pickup the corpse will also cause it to fail which seems unfair for a three power trans skill...

Yeah.. that's the sad part.. is that the skillset has more use for Combatants and bashers than it does for RP. I mean.. Performance Mode + IronWill + Beauty would be pretty scary regen, by all rights.

As I said in the rants thread, to make the skillset useful for RPers, the trans skilll of Feigning death needs to be scrapped, and replaced with a 3 power ability DISGUISE.

PERFORM DISGUISE
In says and emotes, your title and name and replaced with the given disguise.

DISGUISE PERFORM 'an emaciated old man'

emote dances.
You emote: dances
You imitate an emaciated old man.

others would see:
An emaciated old man dances.

This simple skill wouldn't hide you in look or anything, but would allow for identifiable characters and suddenly make plays plausible, which, even with this skillset, are still completely impractical.

5.7% (which is what that comes out to) is still nice considering races don't regenerate ego naturally. So now it gives psionists three levels of regen if they desire and can afford it.

I really think the syntax for impersonate and ventriliquate should be more like illusions. I.e.

IMPERONSATE

This is a bit off-topic, but...

Does Dominate have any restrictions? Because if it doesn't, you could easily jump someone you don't like and dominate him/her into forgetting their skills... That would suck. For the person, that is...
