This is a bit off-topic, but...
Does Dominate have any restrictions? Because if it doesn't, you could easily jump someone you don't like and dominate him/her into forgetting their skills... That would suck. For the person, that is...
Forgetting skills is unforceable. Other things along those lines are unforceable, such as quitting an organization or transferring credits.
Callus2006-07-30 21:37:47
Thought so. Thanks.

And, because of a certain duo who kept trying to crash the game, every single dreamweaving skill is unforcable

Yeah, there's a bunch of commands you can't force, including quit org, forget, break engagement, propose, qq, heartstop, and some others.

I believe all movement that would take someone into enemy territory is also unforcable, yes?
Vix2006-07-31 01:11:19
That's forcable, but illegal. If someone does that to you, you have the right to issue. Pretty sure you can't follow someone into enemy territory though.

Nifty idea. I would have preferred a new skillset be more independent with only incidental benefit to the Influence skillset, but oh well. I'm sure balance/frustration issues will be addressed as they come up.
Since we've accepted that negativity is a way of life here, I'm going to point out that aethership specializations - those wonderful skillsets for which many of us have paid enormous amounts to facilitate over half a year ago - are still unreleased. Any word on how they are coming along?

So, wait a second, does that mean the skill is magical in nature, and not just acting? That when we are "taking on a role" we are magically transforming into that role? For instance, actually growing breasts, and not just putting melons in our shirt?

perhaps it's allowing us to use magic to subtley aid our performances, you can still use the melons but perhaps the magic causes the entire image to look more realistic?
Unknown2006-07-31 08:29:06
That might make sense, given the constant mana drain... and that opens up a bunch of new RP "opportunities."

I do wish someone would tell me if dramatics is supposed to be magical in nature or simply acting, so I knew if I should change my description or not
EDIT: Specifically so I could pick out a dress

Eh, you should change it anyway because, when Genderbend, your description start does actually change. If you're male, it becomes: "She is a..."
