Back to Common Grounds.

I would just like to make the point for those who complain about how ethereal cannot be flooded: In laymans terms, the ethereal plane is essentially the elemental plane of Nature. Water can't be tainted, Earth can't be flooded, Ethereal cannot have it's natural balance removed.

I wholly support those who have said that water and earth should not be forestable, though. If it can be, not being a druid I don't know these things.

Just for a point of clarification, creatures that can be bashed on ethereal, do not leave corpses and so can not give essence.

There should also probabbly be a skill that allows mages and druids to break any demense without replacing it with thier own.

And to turn the terrain type back to "normal"

I'd love an ability to break a demesne, be it mage/druid only or a common skill. But I'm very against being able to flood/taint Ethereal, or forest/flood Earth, or forest/taint Water.

We have more entrances, and fewer totems to defend them with. Cities have fewer entrances, and as many statues as they want.

And whatever you might say about Southern Seren, or Glomdoring, Northern Seren is easy as hell to raid. It's not in the same local area as our Nexus, it can't be defended with discretionary powers, and it has the same problems as the rest of the forest, in that it has few active totems and many entrances.

Well, I'd like to see a mage/druid only skill to return any summoned terrain to its natural state, but that wouldn't help with Etherseren/Etherglom.

If Blacktalon could forest Etherseren, and Hartstone could forest Etherglom, would that improve the situation?

No, because the cities still couldn't break it. I'm reminded of a request someone had for a different reason where you could break a demesne and return the terrain to "whatever it was before" without putting your own demesne substance there though. That might be appropriate.

But it's not, really. It's also your cosmic plane, because it has the Avatars (your equivalent of Demon Lords/Supernals) and the Ladies/Daughters (your equivalent of angels/demons).

Hmm, if it was a Druidry/Aquamancy/Geomancy skill that cost power... sure. That would work.
Shiri2006-08-03 02:38:14
1 power, sure. Same as if you were going to meld it normally, but without putting your stuffs there.

So is Southern Serenwilde. Don't let anyone tell you that there's anything even mildly difficult about raiding a Prime commune, especially in comparison to a city.
