Near the argent trunk of the Moonhart Mother Tree.
The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. Towering
high above is the Moonhart Mother Tree, stretching her enormous branches
heavenwards. There are 25 centaur hunters here. Reaching up as high as the eye
can see looms the awesome presence of a living totem. An oak sapling clings
tenaciously to the ground here. Hackles risen, a fierce timberwolf prowls about
here. A flowering archway rises up from the ground. There are 10 frost hags
here. Glimmering with an ethereal radiance, this moonflower sits here as its
petals dance in an unseen breeze.
You see exits leading east and west.
A living totem unleashes a bolt of energy that slams into you.
A living totem unleashes a bolt of energy that slams into you.

The fighting on the Cosmic is supposed to be between Mag and Celest - the fighting on the Ethereal is supposed to be between Seren and Glom, correct? So, Cosmic shouldn't be forestable or wyrdable, and Ethereal shouldn't be floodable or taintable...

The killing him was a nice sideeffect, but it's Estarra who put them there, kinda. We haven't had the chance to remove the excess.

Can either the feather that you use to enter the Black Nest be moved away from the Ravenwood, or the Monolith used to enter the Hallow of the Last Standing Stone be moved to the Mother to balance the Etherwilde and Etherglom a bit?

Most of those changes sound very clever and interesting, and I look forward to seeing how they'll play out and what's in store for the big quests. I'm very sorry to see such a push from players (namely those playing city characters) to make Ethereal identical to the Cosmic planes in the name of balance. The previous Ethereal layout, with Faethorn becoming twisted and creepy as it approached the archway to Glomdoring, was very nice. Placing the archway at the nexus... makes a little less sense.
Also, Shamarah, unless passing through the archway takes eq now, the totem at the nexus should stay. After all, when you transverse to a Cosmic plane, you're off-eq for a lengthy bit of time, which is much more likely to get you killed than a totem. It's a little disingenuous to say "we don't get statues, they shouldn't get a totem," no?

The reason I say that is because of summoning into the guards; summoning someone into a totem AND guards is many many times more deadly than summoning them into guards alone. I'd be fine with enter archway taking balance.
Also, there should be cubix exits to the ethereal forests. Why won't you make them, Estarra?

ENTER now causes balance loss, but not nearly as much as transversing does. Also, you can still dreamweave into the archways. You can't dreamweave into the cosmic planes. You CAN cubix into them, but a mythical skill costs a bit less than a cubix.

If someone (somehow) planar summons or gusts you into the Pond, you're not getting out. As has been demonstrated by the many times people fling others there with traps.

2.2 sec at Fabled Discipline, 1.7 sec at Trans Discipline, 0 sec if you get lucky with the allheale? It's all you need to get away, then it doesn't matter how long it takes to cure the rest.
