From hand to hand
They stare upon Azur tiled isles,
they have vastly different styles,
of watching this enchanted land,
a kingdom passed from hand to hand.
The ones left here that fought and died,
their battles over, their fortunes lied,
to them about their great god-blessed fate,
to bind this land they'll have to wait…
Five years of more in song and rhyme,
they'll tell their tale of the time,
when freely fae ran from north to south,
and word was spread from every mouth.
That this place was good and bright and gay,
and those who came would have their way,
with all those living in this land,
a kingdom passed from hand to hand.

they have vastly different styles,

Its pretty Wesmin.

It's very nice. Don't see any reason it can't take something besides the fact that I don't see how it's "distinctly Lusternian"

I guess you don't know much about Faethorn? Both my submissions have been about the Ethereal Plane so far, and neither has been completely obvious for a specific reason. Guess it's just my style.

He's probably used to Achaea, where that isn't enough. They are idiotic there, where even if you use room names and descriptions, and denizens, they'll sometimes say its not "distinctly" Achaean. Its insane.

Oh that's the second error in my poems.. I swear what happens is I go in spell check it, then transfer it back to notepad and save it, but sometimes It doesn't overwrite and I end up with the unedited version..

Well, you can go to www.lusternia.com click on the Library tab, and then Art and Bardic Awards, and that's a full list of the winners and runner up works for both since they started it. In general, bardic winners are short stories rather then tiny poems like my four stanza one.
