Forren requested that I put this on forums. Yes, I need more practice. Hmph. rolleyes.gif

I should have just went for a damagekill.

Thoughts:

Some of the times where I guess you thought you had him aeoned, like before you judged, you didn't - you just hit his quicksilver. You get two different messages depending on whether you hit quicksilver or actually aeoned:

You stand an Aeon tarot on your palm, and blow it lightly at Forren. <-- Quicksilver is stripped.

Standing the Aeon on your open palm, you blow it lightly at Forren and watch as
it seems to slow his movement through the time stream. <-- You actually aeoned him.

I recommend making an echo for the second so you can tell when you've actually got an aeon off.

Also, it looks like you had your angel on kneel and I assume paralysis. I'd recommend not using either of those outside of groups; there's better things you can make your angel do. Also, neither of them helps hinder aeon curing or anything. Personally, I recommend anorexia/stupidity or anorexia/vapors. The first one in particular will help you stick aeon, allowing you to pull off a successful kill.

At the start you most likely could have absolved him. Don't underestimate quicken amissio, specially when you had aeon stuck real nicely. It is a better idea then judging like that. You can also use carcer if you plan on judging.

I see your system was doing a lot of useless things. Why change mindset, parry and stance when fighting a MAGE??
Use protection scrolls - your best friend against pesky demesne effects.
If they choke you, assume you'll either get throatlocked or get some veins bursted. Probably both.
Remember - not only healing potion heals 1 burst vein, sparkleberry does too.

Well, changing mindset against mages can be a good idea sometimes, I know Revan debates sometimes too before he attacks as a Telepath.

Only use a protection scroll if you are outside of the room the mage is located in. The speed at which a mage can dissolve the scroll's effect is faster than what you can put it back up. Beside, Dissolve only requires balance, not equilibrium. A mage can staffcast, use psionics, or any other equilibrium skill and dissolve in one combo.

Also, place in a variable to turn off your debating when it is not needed. I suggest only turning it on in combat when dealing with a Telepath, since they can kill you at half-ego. (I would use debating to get the Mindburst kills).

I don't like toggling things on and off. I'm going to forget to change to the right setting and die lots because of it and never know why.
