I used to just let my playlist go as normal, but I've recently been doing things like putting GGXX - The Original or Awe of SHE on when fighting specifically.

If anyone's heard of the game Uplink, I nicked the soundfile and have the mp3's from it. they're great for while solving puzzles

However, when Lusternia first came out I was obsessed with Papa Roach - Getting Away with Murder, and now that song reminds me of Lusternia whenever I hear it. (And more specifically Glomdoring, because that's where I did all of my bashing back then.)

Lately I've been listening to Utada Hikaru's Ultra Blue album. Yes...that's jpop, I know.

Woot! Utada Hikaru! I've only got a few of her songs. Mostly they're from KH and KH2, but I have a few of her songs that aren't for those two games. Need to go get more...

Now whenever my system sees Ixion or Murphy attacking someone, it starts playing the Lavos Final Battle theme from Chrono Trigger. Dunno why, but Ixion sorta strikes me as the guy who would go "GNNRRUUUARLRLGAHGGHLLLAALGHLLRLHLRRRRRRGH!" before proceeding to beat your face in. As for Murphy, we all know he does that.

Now to test it.

My playlist is 300+ songs and growing, and I almost never turn it on while playing lusty unless raiding, in which case I just throw on some heavy rock. (75% of my playlist is heavy rock, but that;s starting to balance out now) So, yeah, every thing from Zepplin and Rush to soft rock, Classical, jazz, country even a few Jpop songs (Only 8) :S
