Wanted to bring up some new games that are coming out or that are just out recently, because I <3 console games.

-Dead Rising
Just got this last night, it rocks pretty hard. However, if you die, if you haven't saved, you have to start all over again. Thankfully, it doesn't seem like a horribly long game, and there's lots of bonus stuff to do, story will change a little bit each time with the multiple endings, and different way to do things. Oh, and if anyone can confirm that you can play as Mega Man once you collect parts or something (as opposed to just finding the x-buster item, which I have yet to find), that'd be awesome.

-Ninety Nine Nights
Looks like Dynasty Warriors, but better (except I've never played Dynasty Warriors). The demo was on Xbox live, as well as Dead Rising, and I can't wait for it to come out. Jump in, kill a freaking army of stuff.

-Final Fantasy 12
They're always good, got great reviews in Japan... Much droolage.

-FF7 - Dirge of Cerberus
More of FF7 is always a good thing, and this one is purely about Vincent Valentine. Comes out in a week or so.

-Gears of War
Well, my work break is almost over, but it looks like a 3rd person shooter to hold me over until Halo 3. Badassness.

FFXIII probably won't come out until like two years later.

I might be buying a Wii, but outside that I'm not touching console games. And I've always thought the FF series was crap.

FF9 for me is crap, FF7 was really a big hit because of it's story, music, characters and such, FF8 was also a big hit because of it's graphics and made for teens (FF7 was made for Fan Characters), FF9 however... not my type... FF10, like FF8, also made a big hit with it's new gameplay, graphics, characters and storyline. FFX-2 however, is like something made for girls. Don't know much about FF11 and 12 so I'll stop right there

That's all I really have to say.

If what I hear about the battle system in FF12 is true, I'll hate it.

And I can't believe people hate FF9. It's by far my favorite; finally some characters who actually feel different mechanically. In 6 at least they had different skills, even if they all learned the same magic, 7 and 8 they all felt more or less exactly the same.

Anyway, sorry, ranting

If I get a Wii, they'd better release Spore for it (Hollow hopes, I know) because, motion-sensing controller + 3D modeling = sexy.

That would be pretty kickass. But only so long as the sharing of races across the net was still active. Otherwise, I'd rather play it on PC.

Yeah, the Wii is supposed to have full support for networked play though.

Pfft. 3-D FFs are overrated.

I'll probably end up getting a Wii in the end. Red Steel looks promising.

Chrome hounds is a really amazing game. I can't do it justice with my feeble vocabulary and pathetic lexicon. Go. Buy. This. Game.

Wii and new Zelda game, I know it'll be on Gamecube but itd be more interactive with Wii. Amongst other games that Nintendo will give us that will make it all worthwhile. Nintendo

I guess it depends on what you like. Chrome hounds is like a mech game with alot of customization involved, Not everyone is in to that. The online campaign is what makes it a great game.

I want Super Smash Bros Brawl (is that the name? tired right now x_x) for Wii... and all the other cute games they have planned I have a lot of little cousins so it'll be good.

And uh, is FFXII and FXIII both for the PS3?

There's gonna be a game where you sword fight and actually swing the sword. How can anyone deny the awesomeness of Wii?

Twilight Princess, SSB:B, and oddly enough the new Rayman. Enough said.

I really like the idea of a Rayman game for the Wii. Rayman's floaty hand mingles perfectly with the Wiimote.

So this is far, far from being upcoming, but I finally borrowed FF7 and a PS1 memory card from a friend. Now expect even less of me in Lusternia.
