So.

What am I supposed to do when someone does paralysis over and over again along with something that drains my willpower such that in roughly 3 minutes I'm on zero and totally unable to do anything? Is there a way to get around that or is it just impossible and I have to kill him within that time limit or lose?
Dysolis2006-08-13 05:08:42
what is this time limit are we talking about here?
Shiri2006-08-13 05:10:03
This time limit where you can't do anything at zero willpower, for example cure paralysis, so you automatically lose the fight at that point and have to wait an hour or so (or die) to get back to some kind of combat-ready condition again.

I've tried that tactic and it doesn't work to well unless the target has crappy curing. You can easily walk out of the room when you are done with your focus and he can't chase you for up to 6 seconds.
Dysolis2006-08-13 05:23:28
ah yes , -that- time limit

Yeah, I ended up using allheale to cure the paralysis and get away, but now I'm still disabled half an hour later since rocking chairs apparently don't work for me. dry.gif Is there any way around stopping that happening, or do you just have to kill them or lose and have to run away and stay hidden?

Maybe Furrikin can't actually touch the ground with their feet when they are sitting, so they can't rock? Their legs stick up into the air at rightangles?

Telepaths are hard to fight... the only real challenge I found was TElekenetics...they hurt alot when having to stay in one room. The good thing is...you can set them up for isntant kills easily, since they are stuck usually and unable to move for long periods.

Yeah... sap owns us. Do not use burst against druids. Evil. Really easy to kill us that way.

I'd just keep aeoning while the fae do their thing. Try to get me to sleep with the nymph. You're astrology, right?

No, they can't.
Shorlen2006-08-14 06:53:24
So, if a psion mindblasts you in the trees, sap then vine?

Is Vamp on the 6 second balance? I really hate vamp, just had to deal with it in the arena in a 2v1 battle sad.gif Drained my willpower down to 0 just after I killed one of the two, so I had to start a battle with 0 wp. I ended up using allheale to cure paralysis, then running to sit in my demesne meditating until she had no choice but to come attack me 20 minutes later, and then it was easy, since we were in the very middle of my demesne.
Forren2006-08-14 06:56:32
We can't cleanse off psionic balance. If we just choke you, we have six seconds to go before we can possibly cure sap. That's the time to sap.
