Geb, i defeated you many times as a warrior one on one. In fact i distincly remember chasing your sorry ass all around the basin as you ran like a little girl, and you definitley had head protection. Hell I beat your ass when i was still an unartifacted warrior and not even champion. Why is your ego so fragile? do your thousands of artifacts give you an inferiority complex? Really dude it sounds like you're trying to come across as the most perfect fighter ever who never ever loses....not true bud.

You never did Murphy. That time you chased me was up on the mountain when head protection was not allowed for mages. Like I said, stop trying to rewrite what happened to make you feel that you were better than what you really were. Truthfully, you were not that much better than Nico as a Bonecrusher, and you fell for Illusions easier than anyone else supposedly in the Top Tier. Illusions was always the key to defeating your offense, since you would writhe off of the most basic of web illusions.

If it wasn't for that Calcise bug, the fight would not have been that fast. I have also killed people in 12 seconds before when they don't heal thier broken legs.

And I have never had a champ helm. However, normally people heal thier legs and are up by that point.

I sparred Nico around five times this past hour, where he was helmess and calcise-less. First few were draws.. Nico runs when vessels get close. Eventually Nico killed me - I didn't notice that he removed my weapons, so I wasn't parrying anything! The final spar we held.. he was at twelve vessels. I was stunned, and massively spamming the heartburst alias when the spar ended.

Champ helm made a -huge- difference from what I saw. As long as I was parrying and bubbling every so often, I could stay alive.

Yeah, every time I got him in brainbash range, he bubbled me! Then when he got me high in vessels I had to run through his demense to safety for cures. In my opinion, it was pretty balanced.


Noticed a problem with my sparkles too. But Forren's right, the champ helm makes it possible for me to do that combo. However, I'm pretty sure there'd be the same problem if I simply runed my weapons up, even without the champ helm.

They don't even make enough or the correct runes to equal the helm, no matter how many credits you spent. Just to be close you'd have to buy 2 Vernal Champion runes (to equal the Wounding Increase) and 2 Vernal Knight Runes (to mimic the increase to damage/speed).... and of course... I'm not sure what value a Knight would put the 75% poison effect, but I think a rune for that would be worth more than any others.
So without knowing the cost of the poisons, you'd have to spend 3.6k credits to be close to what your helm gives you now.

If I knew the opponent spent that much to have that huge of an advantage, I wouldn't be so upset about it.
