Lots of things impress me late at night. This particular day, I've gotten up at 7:00am, went to work, came home 11 hours later, hung out, went Cosmic Bowling, and then crashed here.
Did you know that in Firefox (you all use Firefox, right??), there's a section that lets you open all bookmarks in new tabs? I was clicking around, and all of a sudden, everything in my "daily reads" section popped up. I got Penny Arcade, Ctrl+Alt+Del, Order of the Stick, VG Cats, Lusternia Forums, Lusternia, The Forge (Matt's blog), TMS forums, PR forums, Ilyrias dev blog, and Myspace to all open at once, and I could just click out when I was done, since the X in the tabbed browsing just closes that tab.
At 2am, to my tired and confused mind, that's awesome. I think I'll go to bed now.

Uh huh. Kind of use that feature every day for more or less the same things.
And not only in Firefox.

We use firefox here at work. My supervisor at work loves firefox with a passion cause of the tabs. I, myself, find the tabs only moderately nice and mostly annoying. It's too hard to look at two pages side-by-side with the tabs and I haven't figured out if there's a way to open a tab in a new window.

I have an extension to make almost anything that opens in a new window open in a tab instead. With that one, you just hold shift while clicking on a link to open it in a new window instead (same for IE). With vanilla Firefox you can hold ctrl to open a link in a new tab, and shift for a new window.
You can also hit Ctrl+N to get a new window if there isn't a link you are clicking on.
