Okay. I just found this MUD Client that I like, called AL Client. It's got the abilities of zMUD and Mush, but it's very user friendly, and I don't have to worry about all this kind of extra stuff. What I'm wondering is if any of you people out there use it, and if so, have a system for it? Post up!

I used to use it, I found it a bit slow, and buggy, in addition to the lack of user friendliness. Xavius has also used it, I think.

Really? I seem to be able to grasp at it quickly, and I'm not all slow and buggy.

I used it untill I was able to get zmud.
I liked it.

Laysus' assessment is half right. It does have some rather debilitating bugs. But...slow? Not in anyone's imagination. My ALC system can outspam any half-arsed zMUD system on a 56k.

I had my AL client system doing equivalent stuff to a mid-range Zmud system, and it got completely locked down in group combat.

I used AL client for a while, though I never throughly tested it in battle, as I wasn't much into that when I had it. Personally, as another free MUD progoram, I both prefer and recommend MM2k.

I also used AL Client and found it quite user-friendly...
