It's vastly different from similar artifacts elsewhere. Since the shields offer a 15% chance of absorbing damage per attack rather than cut all damage by 15%. I've never agreed with that artifact either but this is far worst.
Oops, your absolutely right. We'll change it to work like the shields in other realms.

And Geb how did you get to offer an absorption rune idea in the first place? I am just curious.
Mail them $5000 a month and you get to get all your artifact wants implemented too.

Shouldn't you be bleeding alot if your deepwounds are at 35k? I still am having a hard time grasping that a wounding warrior does not bleed an adversary that much. I hope bleeding runes help that alot.. And Geb how did you get to offer an absorption rune idea in the first place? I am just curious.
Remember the artifact thread? It was not that long ago when everyone was asked to give their ideas for new artifacts.

Learn to make money first and play games second and you will perhaps get to see 5000 a month without batting an eye.

If you live in an appartment/house, own a car, and pay your various insurance bills, and make 100K a year, you are not going to see 5,000 a month. *peer*
I'm really curious how this bleeding rune works. Because I want to do "passive" damage... but I have a feeling the bleeding rune is only going to do 100 per hit.
Unknown2006-08-14 00:06:59
100 per hit isn't bad at all. That's 200 per combo, which will at the very least eat up some of your opponent's mana.
Allow me my petty remarks, Geb.

-Great Rune of Demesnes: increases demesne size to 30 and time before
effects go away by 50%. (200 credits)
That's only a 5 room increase, seems kind of small.
I guess the increased time is still nice though.
Ixion2006-08-14 00:07:54
Lunge better bypass the shield, no matter what. Lunge misses too much as is. I've missed 3 lunges in a row before, with no afflictions.

Think with this addition, warriors should be given a 100% hit rate, and dex changed to boost effectiveness with parry and stances rather than offering a flat evasion boost.

Question about how bleeding works, Lets say there was an extra 200 bleeding per combo.
Lets imagine that person only heals 60 bleeding per attack around, does that mean that the second attack round the person will be hit for
200 - 30 - 60
110 + 200,
310 bleeding the second round?

I love all but the tailor sheers - 400 credits to be able to do something that should be covered within the skillset? Meh. And I feel so bad for the people who spent credits on the auctions for things that are now available at 1/10th the price.

Why should we be given a 100% hit rate just because of this minor change? The problem with missing multiple times in a roll should be fixed, but making us 100% accurate is not needed at all.
Daevos2006-08-14 00:23:43
I think it is simply because it would remove some of the luck from the equation, one miss is really too much. Unlike the IRE games we have no way to boost our accuracy sufficiently either. Also why should warriors be the only one with not only artifacts and two skillsets, but also their own accuracy working against them.
