Ah, when you put it that way, yeah, it makes sense. I had six types of motes in the one, even though it was only 205 power worth. I'm trying to imagine what one would do with 250 motes of a given type though. Maybe if you go crazy with embedding them, but I don't know if I'd use that many in a lifetime.

If I'd stayed Dreamweaver for longer (ie. after Psionics came out) I'm sure I'd have used well over that in memoryloss and narcolepsy motes.

I used 50 memoryloss and 50 narcolepsy motes during a single wildnodes game once. I'd have used more, but that's all I keep on hand, and you can't weave them midbattle, it takes 10 seconds per mote of sitting there asleep, and -300 willpower, which is a lot in the middle of a battle as a dreamweaver, since each embed and dreamcast costs a bunch.

The cost is comparable to runes, and the time to make them isn't a big deal. It just can't be done in the MIDDLE of a combat situation, which I have no problem with.

I thought you need 1 power to create each note. Was that changed already?

That was not changed. One power, or one tint + one marble? I don't see much of a price difference. Especially since if you make them while you're low on power and can draw dross like I tend to do. 30 free motes a month.

Level 2 balance brings that down to about 6-7 seconds per mote.
