Wrong.
That's a completely different skill that requires having shadows already released, but uses extra power and time on top of it. (That's why you leave when you see someone release shadows.)
Shadows stop you from this.. shadows do that to you.. it's all shadows to me, if you're going to do it because of RP reasons, that shadows block light(which it's the other way around actually, though it would be silly if moonbeam broke a power skill ) then it should be all magical shadows, not just half of them

Shadows that are released *are* "all shadows," but then it takes power feats to empower those shadows to do things like block magic movement or what have you.

No, there aren't, apart from moving.
Assume much? I never claimed there were methods other than those, silly.

Moonbeam is fine. It's local area only, and takes double length when there is a monolith. It's no different than prism tattoo.

If one side gets access to a way to break greatpent, though, all sides should. As it is Magnawilde can basically ignore greatpents, but Celest can't really do anything about them.

OMG that sounds just like how it us to be for Magnagora! It's a lot different on the other side of the fence isn't it?

Glomdoring can bypass them outdoors. Serenwilde can bypass them anywhere. Cities are stuck.

Also if that is put in I want all sides to get soul rezz

The Communes usually don't have access to greater pentagram, since at best, 50/50 chance of a Warrior choosing Highmagic. However it is much lower than that, because Lowmagic is mostly preferred, and very few people actually transcend lowmagic/highmagic. So cities can put it up, Communes can get around them. It is fine.
Nico2006-08-16 20:54:42
It shouldn't work indoors though.

Moonbeam seems fine to me.

Yea really. Nerf sacrifice. Actually don't nerf it. Just make it so that 15 seconds after you die, you automatically start praying.
Nico2006-08-16 21:21:23
Ok, then can we have transmig and spores? Pwease?
Veonira2006-08-16 21:23:31
Only if you give Mag the ability to instantly rez anyone in the city free of cost body or not, and then we'll call it even.
But seriously, why do Geomancers get gypped? It's vitae, conglut, immolate, or nothing, and for most it's just vitae/immolate.

I thought Glom got gypped most of all with those things.

Same with Shadowdancers.
Diamondais2006-08-16 21:29:16
Both Mag and Glom got gipped, well, minus the Ecologist BT's
meaning: They cant raise allies unless its immolate.

Alright. Shadowdancers, Geomancers, get out your picket signs.
Actually I don't really have a problem with it, mainly because I conglutinate.
