I admire how Mogfyre brings his character to life. I mean, the design is cool and stuff, but it's the man (or woman) behind it that really makes it shine.
Also I like how this event felt, more than anything else, like a story event. Mainly for the advancement of the storyline.
Thanks!

Why is a Seren, and a follower of Auseklis, so eager to consort with a Traitor God who has taken after the Soulless?

Because He beat the crap out of Terentia, seriously weakened Lyreath and ate Hajamin: all divine for the city that we are at war with.

Because the player can admmire whoemever he wants regardless of IC attachments?

Um.. his character is interacting with said Divine. So IC attachments sort of matter?
Diamondais2006-08-17 20:18:36
Where does it say that?

This thread is not the place to air your complaints about another's IC actions.
It is primarily for for Morgfyre, but also the occasional off-topic-ness by Estarra. Please do not bring this thread down with IC rants, you know where to take those.
With that said.. I, too, think the event was excellent, and the most fun I've had in a great amount of time. Cheers to many, many more!

You went after a hot warrior chick with a tentacle monster, no wonder you liked it.

Your just happy you have an uber-soulless-Kethuru lite at your command.
Edit- yes, I know he isn't soulless, etc...
Diamondais2006-08-17 20:23:00
Welcome Morgfyre, wish I could have a bit of interaction with You but I probably wont get the chance! So welcome welcome welcome!

It was an utterly and completely supercool event! There were so many things going on at the same time that my character should have/could have been helping with - village revolt, supernals to raise, but I honestly couldn't make myself do anything but watch the battle between the Gods play out until it was all over.
I missed all the fun with the Eye thingie though.

I had a lot of fun with it as well. When things had settled down a bit, I went to his fulcrux, dropped in about 65000 essence, and then tried to ventriloquate his shrine. It didn't work (as ventriloquate and impersonate have bugs), but he noticed, and came out to talk. He did his normal god PR thing, and the most amazing thing was that he kept his cool through some very, very stupid questions. Eventually, the whole thing was a party, where obvious and repeated questions were being asked, and so I left, but I'd gained some information, and it was the first mention I'd had of "other worlds", as he said he'd had cults on a thousand alien worlds. Lusternia is the first world, so I suppose that explains why the gods hang out there, but I'd never thought about the elders visiting other worlds.
I wonder if Morgfyre can consume vernals, demigods, and soulless too? I imagine all but the third would be a piece of cake.

Yeah, I loved this event. Definitely as cool as Kethuru. Or cooler because I am not a newb anymore and hardly get caught by surprise, which this event did.

Good point RPwise.

Um.. no. Not really a good point at all. A Soulless would have done the same thing. Does that mean it would be ok to snuggle said Soulless?
Shorlen2006-08-17 21:52:52
Not nearly as cool as Kethuru, IMO, but definitely still awesome. The Kethuru event is what made me fall in love with Lusty though, so I doubt ANY event will ever be better in my eyes
Jigan2006-08-17 22:13:39
Oi,
Jigan did indeed ask some questions and made some stupid comments. It's Jigan, he does that.
Morgfyre: Thanks for answering them, thanks for not killing Jigan when most gods would have had the heads up and blasted him as soon as he entered. Forgive me, I know I'm going to mangle your name on occasion.
And, thanks for giving Jigan a glimmer of hope

'Cept, your Hajamin is a more accurate representation of Lyreth. Lyreth is blonde and winged.
